Today we’ll share a hearty dish that’s bound to spice up your morning and warm up a tummy or three – and just for you, we’ve made it fuss-free!
Lontong Sayur Lodeh is an aromatic vegetable coconut curry which features compressed rice cake (better known as Lontong), complemented with a rich and mildly spicy broth and a host of healthy greens.
Our irresistible rempah, which we give a good blend and light toss in a pan till fragrant. Adding turmeric and toasted belacan (dried prawn paste) to the base of garlic, shallots, dried chillies (soaked), and dried shrimp, and you’re all set to channel that elusive wok-seared taste.
A nourishing combination of white cabbage, long beans, yam beans and carrot bring a wholesome flavour to the soup, and the glass noodles, deep-fried tau kwa & bean curd sticks and tempeh are the perfect contrast with their springy and crispy textures.
When it’s time, simply spoon the piping hot vegetable curry over the slices of lontong and enjoy as a complete breakfast or brunch. A great way to start the day, with plenty of honest-to-goodness tradition to carry you through!

BREAKFAST - Mushroom Egg Muffins (6 muffins)
1) 6 Eggs - 468cals
2) 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, diced
3) 1/4 cup Mushroom, diced
4) 1/2 can of Tuna
5) 1/2 tsp. Cajun Seasoning
6) Salt & Pepper to taste
Per Egg Muffin - 94Cals
LUNCH - Asian Salmon Stir Fry (serves 2)
1) 1 Salmon Fillet, cut into cubes
2) 1/2 cup Green Beans, trimmed & sliced
3) 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
4) 2 garlic Cloves, minced
5) 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce, divided
6) 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
7) Spring Onions, chopped
Soba Noodles & Edamame Salad (Serves 2)
1) 90g uncooked soba noodles
2) 1/4 cup Edamame, unshelled
3) 1/2 tbsp. Sesame Seeds
4) 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
5) 1 tsp. Chilli Flakes
6) Spring Onions
TOTAL LUNCH CALORIES - 470Cals
DINNER - Steamed Soy Ginger Barramundi (serves 2)
1) 1 Barramundi Fillet (about 12oz), or other white fish of your choice
2) 1/4 cup Ginger, finely sliced

8 pieces Prawns (Shelled and deveined)
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Sugar
100ml Coconut milk
1 tsp Fish sauce
Rempah:
80g Shallots
2 Cloves garlic
3 Candlenuts
2 Chilli padi (deseeded and sliced)
1 stalk Lemongrass (White part only, chopped)

Recipe
150g red beans
Water
130g granulated sugar
0.1g salt
80g water
1g powder agar
120g egg
80g granulated sugar
20g honey
30g milk
145g cake flour
20g rice powder
5g baking powder
15g Japanese sake
200g whipping cream
10g granulated sugar
小豆 150g
水
グラニュー糖 130g
塩 0.1g
水 80g
粉末寒天 1g
卵 120g
グラニュー糖 80g
ハチミツ 20g
牛乳 30g
スーパーバイオレット 145g
米粉 20g
ベーキングパウダー 5g
日本酒 10g
生クリーム40% 200g

作り方
1 小豆を水洗いして鍋に入れます。
2 小豆が浸るように水を入れ中火で沸騰させ、沸騰したら小豆が踊らないように弱火にします。
3 水が無くなってきたら再び水を浸るくらい入れ中火で沸騰させ、沸騰したら弱火で煮ます。
4 再び水が無くなってきたら火から下ろして鍋の水が澄むまで流水にさらします。
5 4をザルにあげ水を切ったら鍋に戻して水を浸るくらい入れます。
6 5を中火で沸騰させ、沸騰したら弱火にします。
7 水が無くなってきたら水を浸るくらい入れ小豆の芯がなくなるまで繰り返します。
8 芯がなくなったらザルにあげ水を切ります。
9 粉末寒天を水でといておきます。
10 手鍋にグラニュー糖 塩 水を入れ沸騰させ、沸騰したら8と9を入れ炊き上げます。(沸騰した餡子は熱いので火傷に注意して下さい)
11 炊き上げたらバットに移し粗熱が取れたらラップをして冷蔵庫で保存します。
12 卵を解しグラニュー糖 ハチミツ 牛乳を入れしっかり混ぜます。
13 12にふるったスーパーバイオレット 米粉 ベーキングパウダーを入れもったりするまで混ぜ、混ざったらラップをして30分ほど常温で置いておきます。
14 13に日本酒を入れ混ざったら弱火で温めたフライパンに流し両面を焼きます。
15 生クリームにグラニュー糖を入れ泡だてます。
16 泡立ったら100gの餡子に少しずつ加えて合わせていきます。
17 14に餡子を乗せ16を絞って挟んだら完成です。
