THE MEANING OF PORTRAIT��Whenever I think of photography, there was never a doubt from the beginning that portraiture is where my passion lies.
As a kid, I have always only liked painting people (even though everyone told me to start with painting still life and landscape). The depth and complexity of the human body and how it connects inward and outward fascinated me.�.
And when I picked up photography, my love and interest for people continued and grew naturally.
.�To me, portraiture is a love story with people.

It goes far beyond posing, and as much as I love styling, styling is only ingredients to an exquisite dish. It is essential but not definitive.
When I’m doing a personal portrait shoot or a branding shoot, I as a photographer am responsible to not only create a perfectly styled and posed image.
I see myself as responsible for defining who that woman is in that moment, and what kind of women would wear that brand. It is about getting to the soul of that person or brand.
.�To me, portraiture is about defining and extracting beauty, inside and out.�And that’s my heart behind making portraits.
It is creating true beauty that is not only seen, but remembered.
