“Born to be real, not to be perfect.” Jada Poon's NOT A SUPERWOMAN Exhibition. July 10, 2020.
It was after I got to know Jada that I understood why so many women want to have their moments captured by her. She is not only a talented artist; she is also a perceptive soul who encourages people to see the beauty within.
As one of the 10 women in her exhibition, I was asked to reveal my flaws, imperfections, insecurities. After all, I am “Not a Superwoman,” but I can be proud of all the battle scars that make me a better person.
Congratulations on this exhibition, @jadapoonphotography . I wish more people could have seen it, but for now, we Jada-fans will bombard social media with your work. Thank you for having me as part of this project.
