The brand seeks to offer the best Hotpot experience to Malaysian diners, not only in terms of flavors but the entire dining experience as well. Using only the best quality herbs and spices imported from Chengdu as well as cooking method/ preparation used in mainland China (Master Chef is flown in from Chengdu to train the local team), the consistency is therefore maintained. Walk in the restaurant and you will feel instantly transported to China... from the interior decor to the eating utensils to how the servers dressed; everything seems to remind you that you are signing up for an authentic Chinese meal. Like a true hotpot restaurant, the menu comprises of many options- from different cuts of meats to various types of seafood, innards, meatballs or noodles. A true hotpot experience that any hotpot lovers should not miss.

We came to Borneo to eat and made a Street Food Adventure tour video just for you. I (Trevor James, The Food Ranger) and Ting Ting as well as Chuchu, travel to the deep back streets of Kuching, in Borneo Malaysia, filming and tasting the top street foods to try in Kuching!

Some people say that Kuching is like the Penang of Borneo. With Penang being the food capital of Peninsular Malaysia, they say that Kuching is the food capital of Borneo Malaysia. There is a huge Chinese influence in Kuching and you can see lots of Chinese street food on the streets but in Malaysian style. Hawker centers are everywhere. It truly is a magical food city. There is a ton of unique cuisine to try!

Whether eating street food in Penang, Kuala Lumpur Street food, or here in Kuching having Kuching street food, it's all good and varies in flavor but you MUST come to try the street food in all of these locations! In Peninsular Malaysia, you can find Chinese street food, Indian street food, and Malay street food all over the place. Here, in Kuching, it's more Chinese street food and ‎Iban, Bidayuh, and Malay street food. All of these come together to make Malaysian street food some of the best in the world!

We are bringing you for a huge Malaysian street food tour as well as a full-on street food ADVENTURE into Kuching's liveliest street food markets, street food alleyways, and deep food streets.

On our trip to Borneo, we found and ate a ton of cheap (NOT EXPENSIVE) and delicious street food. We couldn't stop eating all the street food that we found. This is one place in Asia you have to visit to eat the street food!

Asian street food is without a doubt some of the BEST street food in the world, and since we live in China, eating Chinese street food all the time, it's very easy and fun for us to travel overland or fly to Southeast Asia (places like Vietnam, Thailand, or Vietnam) to try the best street food when we like.

Penang has no shortage of great Chinese cooking but many are still excited over the news that Putien, a Michelin-starred restaurant is coming to Penang. The name Putien has resemblance over Putian, a coastal suburb of Fujian, China; like what the name suggested, the restaurant specializes in offering authentic Fujian cuisine. The brand started out in Singapore (in year 2000) but has since grown into an internationally recognized brand with close to 50 branches in Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Taiwan. Over the years, the brand has won numerous awards and the most notable one being the Michelin awards, one of the highest honors in dining... a one-Michelin star in the recent Michelin Guide Singapore 2017 & 2017.
