【U.S.-Taiwan Travel Year Presents “USA Through My Eyes” Q2 – Disney, California, Houston】

The Discover America Committee (DAC) and the American Institute in Taiwan jointly celebrate 2019 as the “U.S. - Taiwan Travel Year!”

2019 will mark 40 years of U.S. – Taiwan friendship. Throughout the year, AIT with the support of DAC will organize activities and campaigns that promote travel between Taiwan and the United States.

The "USA Through My Eyes” online photo contest and social media campaign is taking place all year round. In the second quarter, California, Disney, and Houston are the exciting featured destinations. Yet you can post photos taken at all places in the USA to win U.S. tickets, Disneyland Resort hotel for 2 nights and Hopper tickets for 2 days,

We have a winner!!! We are proud to share one of the Quarter 1 winning photos of the USA Through My Eyes photo competition. This photographer, who won the Marianas category, received one Taipei-Saipan round trip plane ticket. We are also happy to display some of our other favorite entry photos of Marianas. As part of our yearlong AIT@40 celebration, AIT is celebrating 2019 as a “U.S. - Taiwan Travel Year!” To recognize 40 years of U.S.-Taiwan friendship, AIT will be working with the Discover America Committee and the Taiwan Travel Bureau to promote two-way travel between the U.S. and Taiwan. The USA Through My Eyes photo competition will run all year. Each quarter we will welcome photos from our feature destinations, as well as photos of your other favorite U.S. destinations. To submit a photo or vote on the winners, follow the instructions below.
