Mmmmm Seoul Yummy! This was the bimbimbap I created and it was surprisingly so good because I don’t cook all that often hehe! I got all of my ingredients at the @coldstoragesg Seoul Delicious K-Food Fair where you can get top quality Korean food / snacks / drinks etc all the way from Korea, from now till 10 Oct *at all Cold Storage stores!*
My favourite part is the live clams because they stayed alive for 3 whole days 😱 so juicy and fresh! 🤤
Bibimbap recipe
- 1/2 zucchini
- 1/2 carrot
- Korean oyster mushrooms
- Korean bean sprout
- Korean red pepper paste
- 1 x kimchi (canned)
- 400g ground beef
- 1 x egg
- sesame oil
- light soy sauce
- cooked rice
It’s super simple, just stir fry each ingredient individually for 1-2 mins, with 1 tsp sesame oil & soy sauce and assemble them!

Sunday brunch 💕cha siu Korean bibimbap (yes I have egg fully cooked, this is just for photoshootig🤣) If you are vegetarian , you can take out the cha siu and replace it with any vegetable you like !

Here’s the simple recipe:
Chinese mushroom : soak it overnight with water. Chop into slices.
Wash and drain the spinach
Wash and drain the Flammulina(金針菇)
slice the red pepper , carrots , fuzzy melon .
Sauce : combine some green onion , 1tbsp cooked sesame seeds, 1 tbsp sesame oil , 2 tbsp soy sauce , 3 cloves garlic and 1 tbsp sugar . Mix well.
Sauté the vegetables individually with a bit of cooking oil and the 1 tbsp of the sauce , and spread out in a plate .
Cook the rice with leftover mushrooms .
Place rice at the bottom of a big bowl , then surround it with the vegetable and cha siu . Put an cooked egg in the middle , sprinkle some more sauce and Korean hot sauce . Done !
You can actually choose any vegetables or mushrooms you like , this recipe is just my choice . For the cha siu recipe, I will post shortly .

One-Pot Bibimbap (Korean Mixed Rice with Meat and Vegetables in a Japanese school lunch style)
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 30min
Number of servings: 4 servings
Ingredients:
200g(7oz.) pork or beef slices (or ground meat is ok)
200g(7oz.) bean sprouts
200g(7oz.) spinach
100g(3.5oz.) carrot
1 clove grated garlic
1 tbsp. grated ginger
* 2 tbsp. soy sauce
* 2 tbsp. sugar
* 1 tbsp. Sake (white wine or you can skip it)
* 1 tbsp. chicken soup stock powder
* 1 tbsp. Miso
* 1 tsp. Gochujang (you can skip it if you think it is too hot for kids)
cooking oil
sesame oil
toasted white sesame seeds
2 eggs
800g(1.7lb.) cooked white rice
Directions:
1. Cut meat into bite-size pieces. Cut carrot into thin strips. Cut spinach into an inch pieces. Wash bean sprouts and drain well.
2. In a deep frying pan or a pot, heat 1 tbsp. of cooking oil and make scrambled eggs. Mix in rice and set aside.
3. In the same pan, bring water to a boil and parboil carrot strips, spinach, and bean sprouts. Drain well and set aside.
4. In the same pan, heat 1 tbsp. of cooking oil and heat garlic and ginger until fragrant. Then add meat and cook until no longer pink.
5. Add the vegetables. Mix the seasonings * and add into the pan. Season with salt and pepper if necessary. Finish with 1 tbsp. of sesame oil.
6. Serve the meat and vegetables on top of the rice with scrambled eggs. Garnish with toasted white sesame seeds to finish.

1) 鐵板燒套餐
材料:
A
雞腿排 2支/chicken thigh 2pcs
麵粉 適量/flour q.s.
B
高麗菜 適量/cabbage q.s.
辣椒片 適量/chili pepper q.s.
蒜片 適量/garlice q.s.
水 50ml/water 50ml
C
雞蛋 2顆/eggs 2pcs
作法:
1. 將調味好的雞腿排雙面皆沾上麵粉,備用。(秘訣:雞腿沾粉,表面更香酥)
2. 鐵板燒鍋倒入2大匙油,雞腿排皮朝下放在鐵板燒鍋上,調整火力至【中】煎約8分鐘至皮酥脆後翻面。
3. 續煎約6分鐘,再將雞腿撥至鍋邊。
4. 調整火力至【強】,放入辣椒片和蒜片爆香,放入高麗菜,稍微拌一下後淋上水。
5. 蓋上鍋蓋,燜約1分鐘至高麗菜軟。(重點:利用雞油炒菜更香!)
6. 開蓋將高麗菜翻炒均勻,再撥至鍋邊,打入2顆雞蛋,煎熟即可。
2) 夜市煎餃+炒麵
材料:
A
冷凍水餃 20顆/ frozen dumplings 20pcs
水 120公克/water 120g
B
油麵 300公克/ alkaline noodle 300g
豆芽菜 80公克/ bean sprout 80g
韭菜 50公克/ Chinese chive 50g
照燒醬 80公克/ teriyaki sauce 80g
作法:
1. 將冷凍水餃放入烤盤中,再放入油麵,淋上水,蓋上鍋蓋。(鍋具小標:透明鍋蓋,防止油濺、料理熟度看得見)
2. 調整火力至【中】,燜蒸約10分鐘。(秘訣:燜一下,易熟口感又軟)
3. 開蓋翻動一下麵條,放入豆芽菜和韭菜,淋上照燒醬,拌炒均勻即可。
(小字:超氣派!好看又好吃)
3) 小館子石鍋拌飯
材料:
A
胡蘿蔔絲 250公克/carrot 250g
香菇絲 300公克/ shiitake mushroom 300g
黃豆芽 200公克/ soybean sprout 200g
水 100公克/water 100g
菠菜 300公克/ spinach 300g
韓式燒烤牛肉片 400公克/bulgogi beef 400g
B
白飯 4碗/ steamed rice 4bowl
麻油 適量/ steamed rice q.s.
太陽蛋 1顆/ sunny side up egg 1pcs
韓式拌飯醬 適量/ bibimbap hot sauce q.s.
作法:
1. 鐵板燒鍋倒入適量油,調整火力至【強】,放入香菇絲,翻炒均勻,撒上鹽後再將香菇炒軟,取出備用。
2. 重複作法1,分別將胡蘿蔔絲和菠菜炒軟後取出,備用。
3. 鐵板燒鍋倒入適量油,調整火力至【強】,放入黃豆芽,再淋上水,蓋上鍋蓋,燜約4∼5分鐘至黃豆芽軟,再加入少許鹽,拌勻。(秘訣:黃豆芽燜煮才不會有豆腥味)
4. 鐵板燒鍋倒入適量油,轉大火,放入韓式燒烤牛肉片,翻炒均勻至肉片熟後取出備用。
5. 鐵板燒鍋倒入麻油,鋪上白飯,調整火力至【中】,再放入肉片和所有蔬菜配料,擺上太陽蛋、淋上韓式拌飯醬,加熱至米飯有鍋巴,再將飯和所有食材拌勻即可。(秘訣:加麻油煎出鍋巴才對味)

4) 餐廳招牌韓式煎餅
材料:
A
海鮮包 2包/ seafood mix 2pcs
高麗菜絲 300公克/cabbage 300g
胡蘿蔔絲 80公克/carrot 80g
蔥段 40公克/scallion 40g
B
低筋麵粉 200公克/ flour 200g
糯米粉 100公克/ sweet rice flour 100g
泡打粉 1茶匙/baking powder 1tsp.
鹽 1茶匙/salt 1tsp.
白胡椒粉 1茶匙/ white pepper powder 1tsp.
水 400公克/water 400g
作法:
1. 海鮮包先放入鍋中炒熟,備用。(秘訣:海鮮炒熟避免出水)
2. 所有材料B混合均勻成麵糊,再放入高麗菜絲、胡蘿蔔絲、蔥段和作法1的海鮮料,混合拌勻。
3. 鐵板燒鍋倒入2大匙油,調整火力至【中】,倒入所有作法2的麵糊,攤平。
4. 蓋上鍋蓋,續用中火煎約8分鐘。
5. 翻面,再煎約6分鐘至雙面皆金黃酥脆即可。
