In Pingtung there is a church in mountainous Taiwu Township that its county commissioner Pan Meng-an says on Facebook has been built not only in a quote "gorgeous European style" but that perfectly interprets indigenous aesthetics. He invited the public to visit the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, saying: "You don''t need to fly to faraway Europe to see such a beautiful church."
超美的歐洲風教堂，在南台灣也看得到。位於屏東縣的佳平村法蒂瑪聖母堂，室內聖堂富麗堂皇，搭配七彩琉璃珠，每個座位的靠背都雕上原住民部落人型圖示，把信仰與當地文化交融，就連屏東縣長潘孟安也在臉書大讚，這麼美的教堂不用遠飛歐洲就能看到。

The Tourism Bureau has long promoted round-the-island bike trips as a way to discover Taiwan in depth. Back in 2010, it kicked off the Taiwan KOM Challenge, which has since become a festival with six major events. And now, in collaboration with a magazine publisher, it''s launched a book for cycling lovers.In the book, 10 biking enthusiasts share their favorite cycling routes in Taiwan for groups, families and couples.
要深度認識台灣，環島是最快速的方式！觀光局從2010年以KOM挑戰賽開始舉辦「台灣自行車節」系列活動，現在不但已經擴大成6項主活動。今（2019）年更是與雜誌社合作出版書，結合了10位自行車愛好者分享偏愛路線，鼓勵大家跨上自行車，深入台灣每個角落，發覺美好景色與人文故事。
