Among the 116 exceptional pieces inspired by Monsieur Dior's favorite flower, see some of the savoir-faire behind the new 'Dior Rose' High Jewelry collection by Victoire de Castellane with a ring and necklace featuring mesmerizing cabochon black opals. A flawlessly rendered sketch is transformed by the hands of the artisans into three dimensional forms with a forest of prong settings that will be trimmed and shaped to receive a mellifluous mix of tsavorites, sapphires and white diamonds before the final addition of the futuristic-looking central stone. Learn more about the rose and its importance to the House as an endlessly interpreted code by listening to the new episode in the 'A.B.C.Dior' podcast series on.dior.com/rose-podcast.

We found a new Muslim-owned food stall at JEM that sent us into a glorious food coma. Run by Boss Mama, Madam Salbiah, Sedapwok sells delicious stir-fried dishes, BBQ and nasi padang under one roof!
Two items stood out, the first being the extraordinary Seafood Platter - $24.90 (2-3pax). It includes all your favourite BBQ seafood — stingray, clams, squid, prawns, fried fish, and a refreshing mango salad. Each and every component, which is doused in a different gravy that's wonderfully aromatic and tasty, was delicious on its own. The platter comes complete with their signature sambal fried rice or seafood fried rice.
If you want to amp up your sedap experience, try their Shell Out Seafood Platter ($46.00, serves 2-3) with a choice of sambal, black pepper or salted egg sauce. Each platter comes with mud crab, stingray, prawns, squid, mussels, lala, sausage and corn. Like seafood in a bag, you can pour the seafood on the table and enjoy it with your hands. Go for the sambal, as this sauce is a secret recipe from our dear makcik. It's finger licking good!
Other popular items include Indonesian Mak Mak Noodle Pot ($9.90 for 2-3pax), Jumbo Ayam penyet($5.90) and Sambal stingray with rice ($7.90). They even serve satay to pair with your mains, which is quite a rare find in a food court! You can choose from chicken, beef or mutton satay ($8/10 sticks).

My Canadian Travel blogger/reporter friend, John Saboe, Invited me to join his podcast again.
I do appreciate John's effort on helping Taiwan send a message to the world through his podcast.
In this episode I gave the audience an update from Taipei on the COVID-19 situation. Taiwan had learned alot from it's experience dealing with the SARS crisis of 2002/03 and has implemented many strategies in order to deal with the current COVID-19 or coronavirus crisis.
Culturally Taiwan is similiar to Japan in that the general population is used to wearing masks, keeping their hands clean and generally knows how to behave in order stop the spread of germs or viruses.
非常感謝我加拿大的部落客/記者朋友 John Saboe 再次邀請我上他的網路節目 Far East Travels. 他曾居住台灣超過 4 年,所以總是不斷的幫助台灣對世界發聲。

★☆★ About Sifu Dan Lok ★☆★
One of Dan Lok’s passions in life is martial arts. Like many young kids, after watching a Bruce Lee movie, it changed his life forever. At 17 years old, Dan started training in martial arts seriously because he was being bullied in school. It wasn’t long for Dan to learn the techniques he needed, and gain the confidence necessary to defend himself.
Dan has studied with legendary martial artist such as Bruce Lee’s original student Ted Wong (http://tedwongjkd.net) and Joe Lewis “The Worlds Greatest Fighter” (http://joelewisassociation.com), making him a second generation student of Bruce Lee - in Bruce Lee's authentic art of Jeet Kune Do (JKD). He's also a third generation student of Ip Man (Wing Chun Kung Fu).
Dan has also trained with other great instructors like Sifu Adam Chan (https://www.pragmaticmartialarts.com), Canadian lightweight boxing champion Tony "Fire Kid" Pep (https://www.facebook.com/pepboxing), and Octavio Quintero (https://www.theartofjkd.com)
For Dan, martial arts training permeates every area of life. It’s not a hobby, it’s a way of life, and it influences how he does business.
Martial arts gave him the confidence, focus, and patience to push through these obstacles and to keep fighting when he felt like giving up.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dan is NOT a full-time martial artist and he doesn't even claim to be that good of a fighter.
He's simply a successful businessman who enjoys the art and philosophy of Bruce Lee, just like you.
He doesn't have any online martial art videos, seminars or expensive "private training" to sell you. Quite frankly, he doesn't need the money.
He simply wants to share his passion for the art of JKD (his own version of Jeet Kune Do) through his YouTube channel.
