#'93年にADKが稼働させた、AC用対戦格闘作品であり、シリーズ2作目。前作が格ゲーの流れに上手く乗り、龍虎の拳や餓狼2等のネオジオ格闘作品も大ヒットし、アルファ電子自体もワーヒー1のヒットにより社名を変え会社も大きくなったという経緯から生まれた作品。

主な特徴としては、新キャラ6人追加、攻撃判定の外でCボタンを押すと可能な挑発が追加、一部のキャラに接近して立ち弱Pを連打すると発動する連続技が追加、投げ返しの追加、飛び道具をぎりぎりでガードすると跳ね返して相手に当てる事が可、同キャラ対戦が可、ハンゾウとフウマが別性能化等が挙げられる。

BGMは前作から引き続き清水氏、山本氏、渡辺さんといった、ADK SOUND FACTORYからの3名による共同作曲。
