Joshua Wong: 'Hong Kong is far from achieving democracy under Xi Jinping's oppression'
With his distinctive bowl haircut and black-rimmed spectacles, Hong Kong teenager Joshua Wong became a poster boy for the city's pro-democracy movement when he took on Beijing at the age of just 17.
Along with tens of thousands of Hong Kongers, he took to the streets in angry demonstrations which urged the Chinese authorities to allow the city to elect its own leaders.
