【龍姑娘話健康】哺乳期媽媽是否適合打疫苗?
母乳哺育對於孩子的健康大有好處,除了因為它是嬰兒最好的營養來源,以及是唯一提供初生嬰兒最初六個月所有必需(包括:營養素、水份、磺物質)之外,最常被提及的便是母乳能提供給孩子的免疫力。
孩子在出生後,便會接觸到環境中的各種菌類,由於母親也在同一個環境生活多年,對於生活圈裡的菌類已經有一定熟悉度,故嬰兒只有透過即時的與母親接觸並吸啜母乳,獲取母親那富含抗體及生物活性物質的「黃金初乳」,才能為孩子提供最及時及最合適的免疫保護。
新型冠狀病毒近年在全球肆虐,提供免疫力成了全球炙手可熱的話題。然而,可幸的是,成年人一般能透過施打疫苗,獲得不錯的免疫保護,,但嬰幼兒卻還沒有足夠的研究數據作為基礎的疫苗可以接種,這不禁讓許多家長擔心自己的孩子會染“疫”。全球各地不少專家學者已著手對接種疫苗後媽媽母乳的安全性進行研究,研究針對疫苗對母體、奶量、乳汁內抗體等各方面所造成的影響。
有專家於本年4月,在極具權威的期刊JAMA上,分享哺乳期的母親在接種Pfizer-BioNTech新型冠狀病毒疫苗後的研究報告,在參與研究的受試者的母乳中並沒有發現病毒,所有母親或嬰兒也並未出現嚴重不良事件。相反,在母親接種疫苗六周內,母乳中的抗體水平大大提高,顯示對嬰兒具有潛在的保護作用。逐漸的,更多的研究都開始關注疫苗與抗體的關係,本年六月亦有類似的科學實證,相關討論中亦有類似見解,這些研究令許多學者為之鼓舞。
在世界衛生組織網頁關於COVID-19和相關健康主題的問題中,並不建議接種疫苗的婦女停止母乳餵哺,強調自身做好防疫措施的前提下,餵哺母乳仍然是安全的行為,亦可透過抗體保護嬰兒。中國內地的指引亦提出,在考慮到母乳餵養對嬰幼兒營養和健康的重要性,並在參考國際通行做法後,仍然建議高染疫風險的哺乳期女性在接種新冠病疫苗後繼續母乳餵養。有鑒於此,筆者建議哺乳期女性,可諮詢專科專業醫生關於疫苗的最新科研情況,在充份知情後,以循證醫學為基礎,以安全為最大考量,慎重評估風險及平衡利弊後作出對自己、對家人、對嬰兒最好旳選擇。

木瓜湯催乳健脾胃
很多人誤以為木瓜能豐胸,其實從中醫角度來看,木瓜能健脾胃、消滯暢便、消暑解渴,令大家有誤解是因為它是有通乳作用,哺乳期間婦女多吃木瓜有助增加乳量,因為木瓜所含的蛋白酶會刺激子宮收縮,加快子宮復元之餘又可促進乳汁分泌,其中青木瓜所含的蛋白酶比熟木瓜多,所以用青木瓜煲湯有助催乳。由於木瓜會刺激子宮收縮,懷孕期間不宜食用。
食材小貼士:
章魚性寒,有益氣養血的作用,適合氣血兩虛、營養不良者食用。
青木瓜章魚黑豆湯
功效:健脾助消化,紓緩產後缺乳等症狀。
材料:青木瓜1個、紅蘿蔔1根、章魚乾1塊、乾瑤柱4枚、黑豆30克、花生30克、無花果2-3枚、薑2片
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,青木瓜去皮去籽切塊,紅蘿蔔去皮切塊,章魚乾泡水至軟身備用。
2. 鍋中加入2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮2小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Papaya soup to boost milk supply
Many people have the misconception that eating papayas can help one enlarge breasts. From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, papaya can strengthen the spleen and stomach, aid digestion and clear the intestines, and clear summer-heat and quench one’s thirst.
Such misconception comes from the fact that papaya can actually boost milk production. Many breastfeeding moms eat papaya to increase their milk supply because papaya contains papain (papaya proteinase) that induces uterine contractions, expedite the recovery process, and at the same time promote lactation.
Compared to ripe papaya, green papaya contains more papain. Hence, using green papaya to make soup can boost milk production more effectively. Since papaya can also cause uterine constrictions, avoid consuming it during pregnancy.
Tips on ingredient:
Octopus is cold in nature, can strengthen the qi and nourish the blood. It is suitable for individuals with weak qi and blood as well as those who are malnourished.
Green papaya can aid digestion, whereas ripe papaya can enhance bowel movements.
Green papaya and octopus soup with black beans
Effects: Strengthens the spleen and aids digestion, alleviates lack of breast milk after childbirth.
Ingredients: 1 green papaya, 1 carrot, 1 dried octopus, 4 dried scallops, 30g black beans, 30g peanuts, 2-3 dried fig, 2 slices ginger
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Cut the peeled and cored green papaya into pieces. Cut the peeled carrot into pieces. Soak the dried octopus into water until softened.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add salt to taste.

哺乳之路不易走,好不容易才成功追到奶量,一不小心吃了有退奶作用的食物真是欲哭無淚!作為母乳媽媽定必有上網搜尋過「發奶食物」及「退奶食物」,然後發現「發奶食物」一大堆,例如魚湯、豆漿、花生豬腳、黑豆、木瓜、金針菜等等,甚至有珍珠奶茶!其實每人體質不同,對食物也會有不同反應,而且情緒對母乳分泌也有影響,中醫理論認為「婦人乳汁,氣血所化」,母乳由氣血而化生,氣血充盈自然能上奶,哺乳媽媽不妨做飲食記錄,看看哪些是屬於你的發奶/回奶食物。而以下五種食物,回奶作用較為顯著,哺乳媽媽要小心食用。
回奶食物:
麥芽、韭菜、乳鴿、豬肝、淡豆豉(中藥,與入廚用的豆豉不相同)
- 食用份量亦很關鍵,一般大劑量才會有明顯效果,如果誤吃幾口也不用擔心,有疑問宜諮詢註冊中醫師。
容易導致塞奶食物:
豬手、雞腳、滴雞精、花膠等
- 此類食物膠質比較重,容易令母乳變濃稠而導致乳腺堵塞。

What should breastfeeding moms avoid eating
Breastfeeding is not easy. A mother might spend some time producing a consistent amount of milk, but the moment she accidentally consumes food that might decrease the milk flow, all her efforts are wasted!
Breastfeeding moms may search for ‘foods that boost milk production’ and ‘foods that decrease breast milk supply’ on the Internet, and they might read about milk-boosting foods such as fish soup, soymilk, braised pig trotter with peanut, black bean, papaya, citron daylily, and even bubble milk tea!
Since everyone has different body constitutions, every individual will react to foods differently. Emotions can also affect the production of breast milk. Chinese Medicine theories believed that qi and blood can affect the production of a woman’s milk.
With an abundance of qi and blood, milk production will increase. Hence, it is vital for breastfeeding moms to keep track of their diets, and check if the types of food taken can increase or decrease the milk supply.
Here are five types of foods that can reduce the milk production, so breastfeeding moms, please take note.
Foods that can decrease milk supply:
- malt, chives, squab, pork liver, and light fermented soy bean (which is a type of Chinese Medicine; different from the fermented bean used in regular cooking)
- eating a large amount of the ingredients above would have an impact on the milk production, but having them in a small quantity is still acceptable. Do consult licensed and registered Chinese physicians to learn more.
Foods that can easily clog the milk duct:
- pig trotter, chicken feet, chicken essence, and fish maw
- these ingredients can thicken the breast milk and clog the milk duct.
