As soon as you reach The Burnin’ Pit, you are greeted with a sight of their big smoker, which tells you they really smoke their meat. Once inside you are welcomed to a Texas style BBQ Pit decor, which fits the menu served.

The menu has all your daily nutritional requirements from carbs to salad. I am there for their mouth watering brisket which did not disappoint me. BBQ meat cooked “low and slow” for more than 12 hours in a custom built wood-fired smoker by using local wood which is (jackfruit, mango, rambutan, durian tree)

We were served with the BBQ platter which include 300gm of mouth watering succulent beef brisket, a quarter of Peri-Peri Chicken, three side dishes, mac and cheese, mash potatoes with beef bits and grilled corn in coconut milk, which all goes well with the main dish.

The slow cooked beef brisket was nearly to perfection, with a nice crust and melt in your mouth tenderness There’s two home sauces that will compliment the meat, the spicy smoky bbq gula melaka sauce and the milder and sweeter vinegar and peach sauce.

The Peri-Peri Chicken is the spicy companion to the beef brisket. It is generously bbq with Peri-Peri sauce and also if you want it spicier, there’s extra Peri-Peri sauce on the side.

The side dishes compliments the main dish as the portion is just nice. The mac and cheese is well done, not overly cheesy as to drown the taste of the brisket. The mash is as good as the gravy, the gravy and the beef bits does make the mash one of the best in town.

Menu provide - barbecue platter, beef brisket with peri peri chicken along with three side dish. Signature side
Include mac and cheese, mash potatoes and corn in coconut milk.

As for the side we were pleased to enjoy their deep fried chicken skin serve with green chilli that leaves crispy texture.

After all if barbecue sounds great to you, then you should add new American style restaurant in Desa Sri Hartamas to your to-eat list and not only limited to serving deliciously grilled meats.
