【Canon EOS R3 正式發表】

EOS R 系統當家旗艦「EOS R3」終於問世了，從規格看起來，這應該可以視作是「無反化」的 EOS 1Dx Mark III，但細節又改進了不少。先來看看規格吧：

・影片原生 ISO 最高 25600（可擴展 102400）

・賽車優先對焦可以偵測並對焦在賽車騎士的安全帽上

〖新熱靴與新配件〗

推出新的智慧熱靴，具備可轉接配件如麥克風、智慧手機等功能，也一併推出其他配件：
・DM-E1D 數位麥克風，有三種指向性可以選擇，使用機身使用機身供電，本體不需電池。
・ST-E10 離閃觸發器（ST-E3-RT 更新版，更輕更小）
・AD-E1 熱靴轉接器（有防塵防滴設計的閃燈，需要這款轉切才能使用在 R3 身上）
・AD-P1 可轉接手機，能夠將影像透過 Type C 埠傳輸到手機上

〖二款新的 RF 鏡頭〗
・Canon RF 100-400mm F5.6-8 IS USM
重量 635g，比 24-105 F4 還要輕，具備 5.5 級光學防震，搭配機身可達 6 級，可搭配 1.4x 2.0x 增距鏡達到 800mm f/16。

・Canon RF 16mm F2.8 STM
非常輕巧且經濟，重量 165g，幾乎與 50mm F1.8 相同（160g），最近對焦距離 13cm、放大倍率 0.26x。

“Lens Profile”

การออกแบบกล้องกับเลนส์ในยุคปัจจุบัน มีการใช้ความสามารถทาง Computational Photography มาได้สักระยะหนึ่งแล้ว และช่วงหลัง ๆ ทำได้ดีขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ

ที่เห็นได้ชัด และทำได้ดีคือเรื่องของ Lens Profile ที่ช่วยแก้ปัญหาเรื่องความไม่สมบูรณ์แบบทางด้าน Optic ของเลนส์แต่ละตัว

เช่น อาการขอบมืด(Vignette) อาการบิดเบี้ยว (Distortion) อาการเหลื่อมของสี(CA) ฯลฯ ที่มักจะมีให้เห็นได้บ่อย ๆ จากเลนส์หลายตัว

ถ้าเราถ่ายเป็น Jpeg กล้องจะแก้ไขเรื่องพวกนี้ให้จาก Software ภายในกล้อง (สามารถเปิดปิดการทำงานได้) แต่ทั้งนี้จะต้อง Upgrade Firmware ของกล้อง และเลนส์อย่างสม่ำเสมอ เพื่อให้กล้องกับเลนส์แต่ละตัวรู้จักกันเสียก่อน เพื่อที่ว่าจะได้นำข้อมูลที่ทางผู้ผลิตใส่มา นำมาแก้ไขรูปภาพของเรา

ถ้าเราถ่ายมาเป็น RAW เมื่อมองจากหลังกล้องอาจจะเห็นว่าปกติดี แต่เมื่อนำมาเปิดใน Application บน Computer เช่น Lightroom อาจจะเห็นว่ามีอาการผิดเพี้ยนจากเลนส์เกิดขึ้น ตรงนี้ก็ไม่ต้องกังวลครับ เราสามารถเข้าไปตั้งค่าให้ Application ทำการแก้ไขโดยอัตโนมัติได้ ในเมนู Enable Lens Corrections

ซึ่งการทำงานก็เป็นไปในลักษณะคล้ายกันกับ Software ของกล้อง คือการเข้าไปอ่าน Lens Profile แล้วนำข้อมูลมาแก้ไขชดเชยให้ แต่ก็เช่นเดียวกันครับ เราต้อง Update Version ของ Application ที่เราใช้อย่างสม่ำเสมอ เพื่อให้รู้จัก Profile ของเลนส์กับกล้องรุ่นใหม่ ๆ หรือมีการแก้ไขปรับปรุงเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการแก้ไขเลนส์ และกล้องที่เคยมีอยู่แล้ว อย่างสม่ำเสมอ

ใครที่ใช้งานบ่อย ๆ จะเห็นว่าความสามารถในการแก้ไขเรื่องพวกนี้ ดีขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ อย่างชัดเจน

ภาพตัวอย่างเป็นภาพจากกล้อง Canon EOS RP ใช้ร่วมกับเลนส์ Canon RF 24-105 mm F4.5-7.1 IS USM เมื่อเปิดให้ฟังก์ชั่น Lens Corrections ทำงาน ภาพก็จะถูกแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องที่เกิดจากเลนส์ให้กลับมาเป็นปกติ

//การใช้ Software ช่วยแก้ไขให้การออกแบบเลนส์ทำได้ง่ายขึ้น ลดต้นทุนทางด้านการผลิตลงไปได้มาก

//สำหรับกล้องบางรุ่น อาจไม่มีเลนส์ Profile ให้เลือก เนื่องจากมีการฝังค่าที่จำเป็นมากับ RAW เพื่อให้ Application เปิดไฟล์แล้วใช้ข้อมูลที่ติดมาแก้ไขได้เลย (Built-in Lens Profile)

In this video, we have a first look and first impressions of the newest flagship speedlight from Canon, the EL-1. It's marketed as the "1DX" level of their flashes with extremely fast recycle times and a weather resistant body. Wanted to show you guys the operation and some sample images I took with this flash. (Note: this unit is still a preproduction model)

Unfortunately, the city I stay in just went into another lockdown and so, I had to return the flash. I was planning on shooting with it for a few more shoots and do a a proper review on this amazing flash. I did manage to take it out on two separate shoots within the span of a day. It's not long but it did give me a good idea of the improvements in this flash. Hopefully I'll be able to loan it again to do more proper testing!
