I am a big believer in making yourself happy above all else. With a history of mental illness in my family, and struggling with anxiety myself, I find it so important to understand that the person you need to please most, is YOU. So I feel I need to share this.
I found it a little difficult practicing what I preach when we were in Gili recently, because being in an Asian country over the past few years has really tested the strength of my body positivity. I don't know why people view super skinny bodies as the ideal shape here in Asia, and I found myself conscious of judging eyes whenever I wore my bathing suit. But I'm learning and growing, and at the end of the day, I love my body. I'm comfortable. I'm happy, and I'm healthy. And that's what matters. If you have insecurities, you're not alone. So remember that, cast them aside, and live your life the way you want to. Enjoy the moment. YOUR moment. Embrace yourself and create your happiness ♥️
