Happy Leap Day, we were at #TTSH, #KKH, and #CGH today! So happy to have spent the day with you all, you’ve given us all a giant leap of faith!
Other than wanting to do my part in showing our gratitude and appreciation to our healthcare workers for their time and dedication to the cause, it was also really to try to be an example to take a step forward to show them they’re not alone in this and they have us fully behind them, especially at a time when they might even be shunned and avoided by some.
I’ve had the chance to be involved in two seasons of the nursing drama “You can be an Angel too”, and it only served to reinforce the idea that nursing is such a demanding and difficult, and often #selfless and #thankless profession. So the next time you see a nurse, a medical staff, a cleaner, a transport driver, you get a chance to meet one of our frontline heroes, don’t give them wary or disapproving looks, don’t shun or avoid them ok, give them the respect they deserve, give them a warm smile, say thank you! 😉😊
