Many factors result in a lack of good sleep, but external light is the most detrimental to our sleeping patterns. While we can block most of that at home, you are still exposed to some harmful light that can keep you from getting to sleep at night. Ever since I switched to a silk sleep mask, my REM sleep quality improved tremendously. From 0 hours of deep sleep each night, I am getting 110mins of deep sleep which is typical for adults.
