Todak Waterfront is a popular place to enjoy fresh (and cheap) seafood in Kota Kinabalu. 🦀

There are more than 10 stalls here. I recommend "Gerai Ummi & Family" at stall # 4. 👨‍🍳

Seafood price is inclusive of cooking. Most of the stall operators can speak basic Mandarin. 🗣

Here is what we ordered:
🐠 Parrotfish (ikan bayan)
🦞 Spiny lobster (2 cooking styles)
🐚 Melo melo (seafood kelapa)
🌿 Latok & agar-agar
🥥 Coconut water

If you interest share accommodation or need more information ask us. Fly to Kota Kinabalu is easy and race is nearby. In KK is relatively cheap, some nice island and nice food. Great for longer weekend stay with option of 15-30-50 or 100km on exotic trails.

#foodtrip - Hanging out with my hotel staff, in Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), and trying some yummy Malay local food. I'm a big foodie and that's always the best part of the trip for me !hehe special thanks to the boys - Oscar Frank & Nasril Bruce, for showing me around! :D

I stayed in Lodge 58, very good value, clean and great location.
I had a private room bathroom/shower.
the only problem was people smoking in the reception/ lounge/ kitchen area,I hope they change that! hehe, https://www.facebook.com/lodge58sabah/
