จากผลสำรวจความคิดเห็นของนิสิตมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ บางเขน ที่มีต่อกิจกรรมการประกวดทูตกิจกรรมมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ หรือ ที่เราเรียกกันติดปากว่า ดาว-เดือน พบว่านิสิตส่วนมากแสดงความคิดเห็นว่า การประกวดดังกล่าวไม่ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์แก่นิสิตส่วนมาก แต่เป็นการให้ผลประโยชน์แก่คนเฉพาะกลุ่มมากเกินไป รวมถึงเป็นการส่งเสริมค่านิยมในเรื่องของรูปลักษณ์ภายนอกมากกว่าที่ควรจะเป็น และควรมีกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมในเรื่องของความสามารถนิสิตอย่างแท้จริงมากกว่าที่จะตัดสินในเรื่องของความสวยงามเพียงอย่างเดียว

เมื่อผลการสำรวจความคิดเห็นได้สิ้นสุดลง มีนิสิตเข้าร่วมทำแบบสอบถามทั้งหมด 1,272 คน และมีค่าเฉลี่ยดังนี้
นิสิต 55.6% ไม่เห็นด้วยกับการประกวดและเห็นควรให้ยกเลิกการประกวดดังกล่าว
นิสิต 28.7% เห็นควรให้มีการปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบในการประกวด โดยไม่ใช้หน้าตาหรือรูปลักษณ์ภายนอกมาเป็นเกณฑ์การประกวด
นิสิต 15.7% เห็นด้วยกับการประกวดและเห็นควรให้มีการจัดการประกวดต่อไป

According to the recent survey on KU students’ opinions regarding the KU Ambassador pageant, the result shows that most of the students commented that the pageant is not for the students’ best interest, yet it is excluded for a specific group of students. Also, it advocates too much beauty privilege which gives benefits to students for just their appearances rather than their talents. Other opinions are stated to point out that the competition should be held by using talent criteria to be judged.

The pole has ended with aggregate 1,272 participants;
55.6% disagree to continue on the pageant and see forth to abolish the pageant.
28.7% point out that the pageant should be reformed.
15.7% agree to the pageant to be continued.

Kasetsart University Student Administrative Board hereby declare the abolition of KU Ambassador pageant of 2020 academic year officially.
