Dear friends, volunteers and sponsors,
Our commitment remains. Kechara Soup Kitchen is still operating to ensure that the most vulnerable have access to food and essentials. The homeless and the low-income hurt the most in these times. Many depend on daily wage jobs and have limited access to food and essentials.
In compliance with the Movement Control Order, we will be transitioning to delivering Emergency Food Boxes to at-risk families and our homeless friends. During this period, the wellbeing of our clients, volunteers and staff is our top priority. We will be taking safety precautions and will have a limited volunteer list in order to minimize risk.
We urgently need funds and food donations in order to prepare food boxes.
