Dining with the goldfish 😆🐟 We had Beijing cuisine in Beijing Home (北京老家) last weekend and were so excited when we saw the goldfish swimming 😝 (I went there for a few times and this was the first time I saw goldfish - there is no goldfish for large tables). The Hot Candied strawberry 🍓 is a must-order item, the fresh strawberry and the crispy candy coating just perfectly match each other! Vegetarian dishes are also available 🌱 Make sure you book the restaurant in advance, especially if you are dining on weekends.

Crispy & Juicy Hainanese Chicken Chop 海南炸鸡排
Ingredients:
Serves 2 pax

Marinated chicken

2 boneless chicken leg - butterflied (roughly around 220g or 7.76oz each)
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
A few dashes of white pepper

Coating for marinated chicken

~12 cream crackers
Some plain flour
~ 2 beaten egg

Gravy
-----
1 medium-sized red onion - sliced thinly
4 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce (can be replaced with ketchup)
200ml (6.76 fl oz) water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoons white vinegar
Some cornstarch solution

Other ingredients
