This is a foundation building workshop geared towards students who want to learn arm balances and inversions.
Learn to fly + balance in this invigorating Arm Balancing & Inversion Workshop with Agnes. This 3-hour workshop kicks off with a vinyasa flow practice to warm up the body and prepare you to intelligently build the poses to gain strength, stability and balance.
This will be a workshop where various postures will be explored with a focus on preparatory strength, alignment, and modifications to help you expand your arm balance and inversion. Some of the poses we will over are crow pose, side crow, handstand, and forearm stand etc.
All levels are welcome – just show up with a willingness to try and curiosity!

每次練習烏鴉總是搖搖晃晃,不是非常穩定。

How to do “crow pose” #Bakasana- or at least how it was taught to me! Some tips...
Plant your hands palms firmly on the floor. Stand up on your toes. Charge your knees into your armpits! Higher higher! Not on the triceps. Don’t rest them on your arms! Tighten your core. Lift your butt in the air! Higher higher! POINT YOUR TOES!! Keeping doing these movements! Keep your head up as you can see the second I put my head down my whole body drops... come out the exact opposite way you went in! Good luck! Let’s practice together! How about your try and tag me? Props needed: A pair of yoga blocks.
Option to use a pair of blocks.
