DAILY SKIN CARE ROUTINE: Jayda and Gina

In this video we will show you guys a glimpse of our daily skin care routine. Please note that we do have other products, techniques, and routines based on how we think our skin needs.

Here are the basic steps for starting off our day right:

1. Cleanse
Cleansing is super important for the skin because it removes any dirt or unwanted impurities from the skin. You should not only start off with a fresh base, but you also do not want anything damaging to your skin to penetrate and soak further into the skin! (We both used a Cetaphil gentle cleanser)

2. Scrub
First, know when it’s your time to scrub. Scrubbing does not need to be done everyday- in fact, that can have the adverse effect by removing the skin’s natural facial oils. However, scrubbing is a great way to not only remove impurities, but to prep the skin and open pores for the steps that follow. Exfoliate by working the scrub in a circular motion and into the skin(Gina used Sanctuary Spa Covent Gardens Radiance Exfoliator)

3. Clay masks
There are so many different types of clay masks on the market- you just have to find which one is right for you. Massage the mask into your face and wait the appropriate time as indicated on the package. Rinse with warm water and splash with cold water once fully removed (Jayda used Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask)

4. Paper face masks
Place smoothly on face and leave on for 15-20 mins. Rinse off with cool water. (Gina used Skinlite Firming Lift Coenzyme Q-10 Mask)

5. Toner
Dampen cotton with toner and apply to face and neck in an upward motion. (We both used Shiseido Skin Softner Toner)

6. Serum
Add several drops to face gently massage into the face and neck. (Gina used Skinceuticals C E Ferulic® with 15% L-Ascorbic Acid)

7. Eye Cream
Add 3 small dots under each eye using your ring finger and gently pat into the skin. Continue to pat onto the eyelid as well. (Jayda used Dermalogica Total Eye Care & Gina used Kiehl’s Youth Dose Eye Treatment)

8. SPF
Lightly massage into face and neck in an upward motion. (Jayda used Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face SPF 50 & Gina used Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream with Sunscreen SPF 30 and Juice Beauty SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer, Color Sand)
