Our Directorate General of Budget just released latest statistics data which points out that our average monthly income stands at NT$51,241, which obviously "outraged" young and middle majority.
Here is what I think, why not release mean, median and other statistics figures to see how it stands for our current profile? In the meanwhile, this press release also reflects that descriptive statistic alone is not enough, we should, or the leaders, experts, and authorities should be able to generalize and conclude something. Interpretation is the issue, predictions, trends, and find out the context are what we need. Collecting what we have is only where we are now, interpret is the major task. We deserve to know more, so we know where and how we move forward.
