📍 Sipadan Island

If you are a cave diver, then you should really consider diving the Turtle Tomb in Sipadan, Malaysia.

It is a cave that starts at around 18m with many side tunnels and dead ends. Along the dive, you will see tons of turtle skeletons (hence the dive site name) giving it an eerie feel throughout the dive. There’s also a pair of marlin and dolphin skeleton.

It was one of my favorite dive sites back when I was guiding people around Sipadan. Once in a while we’d be surprised by a new turtle carcass in the cave. How do so many turtles die there you might ask. Well, the turtles would swim into the cave and lose their way. They’d then drown before they can find a way out. If you looking for a new experience, give this cave a try.

今天是不是又更熱了？

病毒怎麼還沒集體熱死🥵
英國變種怎麼沒有更怕熱

停好車後，走在往園區的路上，對，有人確診的園區，欸好想走進海裡泡著。

一路眼睛盯著水溝，到了公司門口，還盯著花圃自動澆水的水管，那根有點細的水管，裡面出來的水還真是透亮透亮又源源不絕🌱

想去很深很冷的海域。

滿腦子都是Crystal bay的15度水溫，跟很深藍、很靜、氣氛詭譎，佔地又廣的Kyokuzan Maru 沉船（尤其近傍晚）。

竟然沒有想到任何一個Cenote，我明明這麼念念不忘洞穴裡的淡水，及隨便一道陽光灑下，就滿出來的光束。

人很想做某件事或是很想要成就什麼時；當渴望出現，心中或是腦裡就會浮現很多真心喜歡，一般沒什麼太在意的手邊事；又或是本來無法抉擇，當下立馬腦子清晰出現路的方向，大概就是這種邏輯。

不管是寵物、人、或是某件事、某個地方，除了他們本身的美好外，求的更是一種契合感。一開始新鮮，交流到磨合，慢慢習慣，逐漸產生安全感，因為是個舒服的存在，無不時就會想到。

所以，對我來說，愛沒有什麼不明原因，都會很清楚知道，喜歡什麼，愛什麼跟離不開什麼。

潛點也是這樣。

I thought mutant virus 🦠 from UK should have got weaker especially in Asia heat.

Guess not.

Really need a break from such tense and heat.

Couple dives in Crystal bay @Nusa Penida in Bali will do w/ its 15 degree Celsius and Kyokusan Maru shipwrecks in Coron. Water so blue, wreck covers vast area and ambient is somehow peculiarly peaceful especially in late afternoon.

Surprisingly not a Cenote appearing in my mind, thought I dig them, fresh water and the sun beam is enormous.

So when you really crave for any, life style, accomplishment, any, what you love and feel the best about would sort of come out, which mentally save you loads of time wondering. As getting along with people, pets or any we are connected to, love is full of reasons.

Dive sites, too.
That’s how you pick the favorite ones and keep going back.

📍 Layang Layang Island

𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧:
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧, 𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗

The convergence of two dive sites, Gorgonian Forest and Dogtooth Lair, forms a sharp corner that we call The Point. It is a gradual slope from 5m to 18m, then a steep slope down into the abyss. The currents here can be tricky at times, but this is where we usually hunt for hammerheads. Sometimes, we would leave early (6 or 7am) to increase our chances of hammerhead sightings. Depending on the current, we would drop in at the top of the reef at 5m, then slowly descend to 20m as we head out into the blue (meaning away from the reef) in search of the sharks. We would spend about 10-15mins out there, and if we find what we're looking for, we'd stay there as long as our no decompression limit allows. After that, we then find our way back to the reef and end the dive with a school of jackfish or barracudas accompanying our safety stop! Sometimes, divers might even see manta rays, eagle rays, and devil rays here. Other marine animals commonly seen here are dogtooth tunas, white tip sharks, and grey reef sharks.

The hammerhead sharks are usually seen out in the blue, but sometimes after coming back to the reef without a single sighting, we'd bump right into a school at the shallow reef! Layang Layang is truly full of surprises.

In the video, you can hear a loud beeping sound: an alarm from our camerawoman's dive computer set to beep at 27m. Being out in the blue with no reference point, it is important to be aware of our depth, especially if we see a school of hammerheads! In our excitement, the last thing we want is accidentally going deeper than our limit.

2020 was to be the big year for Malaysia's tourism sector. Hotels and airlines were expecting millions of guests BUT what came instead was a virus. And with it, the worst crisis Malaysia's tourism industry has ever faced.

This year, tourism was supposed to boom like never before. Worldwide, the advertising drive for the big campaign "Visit Malaysia 2020" was set in motion. We were expecting around 30 million tourists and supposedly revenues of a solid €20 billion euros ($21.5 billion).

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has put a damper on all of this, particularly affecting more than 3.5 million people working in the tourism industry.

Retail too was hit hard.
As the coronavirus continues to spread around the world, there has been significant impacts to consumer behaviour and product demand..not forgetting , retail store, factory, and logistics services availability.

Scary but true, now everyone is finding ways to recover, sustain and to rebuild whatever they can financially and economically.

Today, I speak to friends Richard Swann , Platinum PADI Course Director and Managing Director of Dive Downbelow PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre and Muhammad Faisal Daud aka Moe Faisal Marketing Manager of Rip Curl Malaysia to share more about conserving whatever resources they have in moving forward in business and their plans diving into the #NewNorm.

玻璃城
是一個相對較新的潛點，由於獨特生態，成為帛琉熱門潛點之一。有Manta的清潔站，沙地上很常會出現傑克魚風暴、海狼風暴、各種鯛魚群、灰礁鯊或黑鰭礁鯊等。

烏龍水道
位於Ulong 島西緣的水道，底部的沙地僅約13公尺，兩旁的緩坡到處是海洋生物群聚，是個非常特殊的潛點且是是世界知名放流潛水最佳潛點之一，在水道入口處可使用流鉤固定。帛琉是世上其中一個珊瑚生態相當豐富的地方，軟硬珊瑚超過700種，而光在烏龍水道就可以看其中的一種了!烏龍水道是天然的水道，漲潮水流強的時候水道入口會有灰礁鯊在巡遊，杰克魚風暴，進入水道後，就可以開始刺激又好玩的放流，讓洋流帶著你欣賞水道兩旁的珊瑚礁林及龍膽石斑、四線笛鯛等等，水道有個特別景點，是泛太平洋地區最大遍的玫瑰珊瑚花園，真的超爛漫~
