VSH直至目前為止已收到了6宗懷疑狗隻中毒個案。所有的狗隻都在2021年2月7日去過數碼港。狗主人發現於接觸後約由兩小時到12小時之內出現的症狀先是氣喘和躁動不安。
隨著數碼港（薄扶林）、The Pulse商場（淺水灣）和西貢的狗隻中毒事件不斷增加，我們建議所有狗主人避開前往以上地區，在任何時候狗隻都以狗帶牽引，散步時需格外留神注意任何可疑物品，防止狗隻進食可疑食物，必要時戴上筐狀口罩。另外，先記下住處附近的急症獸醫診所地址以備不時之需。如果您懷疑狗隻吃了一些可疑或未知的東西，或發現任何異常症狀，請立即帶同您的寵物到獸醫診所求醫。
有兩隻生命小鬥士於本院正在奮斗中，VSH的急症獸醫及專科獸醫，包括深切治療及急症專科 - 石志榮醫生，不僅日以繼夜地努力拯救病患，而且更積極地記錄及研究這種毒藥的副作用。本院團隊正努力不懈地開展拯救生命的道路，並將竭盡所能阻止這些蓄意可怕的襲擊。

Sadly, VSH’s Emergency Service received six suspected dog poisoning cases as of last night. All of the dogs have been to Cyberport on 7th February 2021. The first symptoms seen by the dog owners are increased panting and restlessness, and can start anywhere between 2 hours and as long as 12 hours after exposure.
With the increase in reported dog poisonings in Cyberport (Pok Fu Lam), the Pulse (Repulse Bay) and in Sai Kung, we would recommend all dog owners to avoid these areas, keep your dog on short leashes at all times, keep an extra eye out for suspicious items on walks, prevent your dog from eating anything outside, and put a basket muzzle on if necessary. Also, know where your closest veterinary emergency service facility is. If you suspect your dog might have eaten something suspicious or unknown, or if you see any unusual symptoms, please bring your pet to the emergency veterinarian immediately.
Two of the poisoned patients is still fighting for its life at VSH. VSH emergency veterinarians and specialists, including emergency and critical care specialist Dr Erik Zager, are not only working around the clock to try to save patients, but are aggressively documenting and researching the effects of this poison.
