屏東縣東港鎮，還有部分地區積水未退，道路和農田都還持續泡在水裡，鎮公所認為縣府，應該要求中央盡快協助治水。

In Pingtung's Donggang Township, roads and farmland remain flooded, and the township office is calling on the county and central government for assistance.

為了迎接即將到來的世大運，台北市政府成立優化市容景觀專案小組，花費15億元，改善市容，但卻遭到質疑，成效似乎有限，上午台北市長柯文哲表示，是先重點整理。

The final count down to the 2017 Summer Universiade continues, and the whole of Taipei city is in full preparation mode. In fact, the city government has spent a total of NT$1.5 billion, trying to make the city look nicer for the games, but recently, criticisms are mounting and some are saying that the city kind of looks the same. Responding to that, Mayor Ko Wen-je says, it's impossible to transform the whole city in one big stroke. Things have to be prioritized, and the focus has been put on the largest targets.
