帛琉 Palau (一)
Day1-2
自從真正投入潛水這件事後, 帛琉一直是個我莫名覺得很了不起的地方。 想想也滿不可思議的, 從決定去新加坡把書念念的這五年來好像一直在東南亞來來去去, 時間一個白眼就過了, 莫沮喪, 莫離題.. 。是說這兩年接觸的潛水客人, 若不是天生有向下沈淪的特質, 其餘受刺激來的基本上百分之九十九點九都是帛琉蜜月, 帛琉好友同行, 帛琉中華航空假期後, 據眾說是帛琉浮潛、體驗潛水的水下景色實在太美、太不可思議、太誇張了、浮潛已經夠有看頭, 又看下面有人背瓶子潛水搞很久離很近, 這也太過癮了吧我也要! 這島嶼國家的好評瘋湧讓我不得不在地圖的帛琉群島上圈很多圈圈, 終於有機會來見識一下這塊神形容不絕, 全台灣好像只有我沒來過的島嶼。
從昨天抵達到今天, 有種我又回到斐濟的感覺, 為什麼一直下雨啊尬的!! 剛剛印度餐廳吃飽, 逛逛隔壁藝廊 (立體3D以海為主題的畫布及雕刻很令人驚艷：Belau Art Gallery, 藝術家本身就是店員.. ), 還又去喝了咖啡, 躲雨行程最後還是以傾盆大雨做總結耗掉所有人的耐性, 200公尺的walking distance lodge, 花了5美金搭計程車才沒有被大雨沖走。 (小補充： The Taj 這間印度餐廳好吃, set meal沒有在menu上要詢問, 還滿適合大團體, 花招很多, 不得不說這裡食衣住行皆以美金計價, 好貴!)
好險帛琉所謂的大風浪基本上就是小碎浪(屬實), 水冷大概也就是攝氏28-29度(笑), speed boat 真的很speedy, 隔壁講話都聽不到, 轉彎還會築起一面水花牆。團員說：每年一月來都是大晴天啊, 邊說邊躲雨邊吃著中午便當, 其實今天船上的導潛更提到 it was worse. 今天已經很好之意, 這時為了不接續globe warming 這類沒完沒了的話題, 趕緊聊聊別團的烤肉..。 但別開不時下雨的小島氣候, 水裡的生態movement 滿精彩, 也許是因為連著幾天下雨水不清, 魚們都很活躍, 以至於出現Wahoo(金槍魚) 跟鯊魚追逐搶吃Moorish Idol(角蝶), 或是鯊魚跟GT(浪人鰺) 衝吃傑克魚群, 比快比殘酷, 對我來說是很嶄新的feeding畫面啊。
值得一提的是, 這裡原來也是Dugong (海牛) 的出沒海域! I have my finger crossed. Show me!!

【 Ulong Sand Bar 】
Sandy patch.
Sharks, whole ground of garden eels, Many schools of many fishes, barracudas, GT, Wahoo, Leave Scorpion, incredibly friendly (Pink) )Titans triggerfishes - A whole family, the smallest I saw today is not even the size of a paperback book (138mmx198mm). So cute! Can't believe I actually said this! I have been fiercely attacked by them for many times already. Nasty grumpy fishes.. (if they are laying eggs!) Well, I can’t really tell they are laying eggs or eating, the poses are identical to me. People say lots of brrrrrrrrrr about how to differentiate. Obviously they are lying. They all look the same lah, mai-gay.
【Ulong Sand Channel 】
Drift dive. More sharks, Colorful sea fans and gorgonians, sea turtle, octopus. And very stunning "Broccoli Apartment” (Cabbage corals), enormous as a pyramid with many big-eyes snappers swimming around- a MUST see spot.
