Loh Hon Chai is a festive CNY dish consisting of a large variety of vegetables such as Chinese Cabbage, Kobis, Carrot, Leeks, Shiitake Mushrooms, Shimeji Mushrooms, Button Mushrooms, Vermicelli, Tofu Pok, Foo Chok & Black Moss (Fatt Choy) to be cooked with 2 variety of Fermented Beancurd (Red + Brown) + Garlic. :-)

The Drunken Clam Soup, on the other hand, is such an easy & probably the fastest dish to cook in less than 5 mins. Fry garlic, ginger + chilli padi till fragrant, add -in clams, kasi fry-fry & add water to boil till fragrant. Seasoned with salt, light soya sauce, pepper & Chinese Wine for the added aroma! :-)

Being on a healthy eating, clean diet can be really stressful especially when we don’t really have easy access for food like that, especially after a gym session or if you’re in a rush. Most of the time, healthy food preparation takes a lot of time and it can be quite tiring. Also because I love snacking, it has always been sinful whenever I can’t look for healthy snacks which has pretty much limited choices.
Although I’ve been consuming lots of fresh produce protein lately, but I have always believed in protein alternative which promotes eco-friendly environment, because it’s usually vegan and it doesn’t lose its healthy and nutritious element to it. Protein bites or cookies can be really useful for on-the-go meals, pre and post-workout meals to fill our stomach while preparing for a proper meal. if you’re rushing off to somewhere, fret not, you don’t need to skip a meal no more, if you’ve @ento.my in your bag.

Just mix Rolled Oats, Chia Seeds, Flaxseeds, Dried Fruits of your choice - Yellow Raisins, Sesame Seeds & Black Soya Bean Powder with warm water, soaked for 20 mins... then it's ready to be eaten.

Vegan Karaage (Soy Meat Fried Chicken) Recipe
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 40min (incl. marinating time)
Number of servings: 4
Ingredients:
100g (3.5oz.) dried soy meat blocks https://amzn.to/3zBFQ4m
* 2 tbsp. soy sauce
* 2 tbsp. sake
* 1 tbsp. grated ginger
* 1 clove grated garlic
* 1 tsp. sesame oil
2 tbsp. Katakuriko (potato starch)
deep frying oil
lemon wedges if preferred
Directions:
1. In a boiling water, cook dried soy meat blocks for 4 minutes. Or as directed on its package. Wash well (change water for a few times) to remove the bad smell, then drain well.
2. Mix the seasonings in a bowl and marinate the soy meat for about 30 minutes. Overnight is okay, longer makes them tasty.
3. Drain lightly (do not squeeze out the marinade liquid), coat with Katakuriko in a plastic bag.
4. Deep fry in oil at 180C (350F) until crisp golden brown.
5. Serve with lemon wedges if you like.
