AIT seeks qualified candidates for an Alumni Coordinator opening.
Description:
Under the supervision of the Cultural Affairs Specialist, and in consultation with the Cultural Affairs Officer, Public Diplomacy Section Chief, and Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA) Bureau’s alumni coordinator in Washington, the incumbent is responsible for promoting increased contact and cooperation with and among former participants of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs. Duties include organizing events and programs for alumni audiences; integrating alumni into all Mission programs; liaising with the ECA/P Alumni Affairs Program and preparing proposals for funding; preparing and disseminating news and information of general interest to alumni; helping to maintain the ECA database of alumni records; creating communities on the ECA alumni state website targeting Taiwan’s alumni; contributing content to this website and coordinating the promotion of the ECA State Alumni website among the different alumni audiences throughout Taiwan.
