HOWEVER... I can't help but feel slightly hypocritical as I am still a human who has been conditioned to living in the ways I'm used to... I still eat meat, and that makes me a part of the reason why forests and lands are being burned down, to make way for cattle farms... I still let the straws and single use plastic slide when I have my meals at eateries that have not practiced the no-plastic movement, and I forget to bring my own sustainable straws, I forget to bring my eco bag and have no choice but to ask for plastic bags, I forget to recycle sometimes, amongst other vices I may have that may make me feel like I'm no better than any one else we frown upon.

But just like you, them, and everyone else, I, you, them, we, are all human.

We are a species that thrived because we were endowed with our brain that programs itself through memory.

Some of us learn slower than others, and that's okay... But we are also a species that could allow ourselves to be awakened, into a consciousness that could surpass our own expectations of each other.

Let's all learn together. Wake up together. As a collective, as we are the ones responsible for all we protest for.

Bit by bit, slowly but surely, I hope to learn more, in my own ways, to be better at practicing what I preach, so I can be less disappointed at myself.

No one is perfect, but in this case, it's about all of us doing it all imperfectly. Just as long as we do it!
