但是，要結束機器人取代人工的失業悲劇，其實也是有解滴。例如，從明年（2018）的三月開始，蘇格蘭這個英國最荒涼最窮困的區域，即將要進行一場實驗：人人有獎的無條件基本收入。
什麼是「無條件基本收入」呢？為什麼我們需要呢？可以這樣認識：它是種 1) 歷史的紅利、2) 基本生存的權利、3) 能消除貧窮、4) 解決許多社會問題、5) 還能挽救人類被機器人取代的反烏托邦未來。

現在社會上的許多問題，無論是機器人取代人工作，或是教育、犯罪等等問題，其實最核心的癥結，都是「貧窮」。如果解決貧窮，其實許多事情應該都可以隨之迎刃而解。

於是，如果透過「每個人都有一份無償的安穩收入」，讓每個人都安心地能做著自己喜愛的事情，那麼在人盡其才之後，未來可能會有更多意想不到的進步與發展。
