We have been introducing Cotton tree again and again in the past few years. This year we did something different and went to some typical Instagram spots for photos of flowers. Earlier we went to Nam Cheong Park for Golden Trumpet and for today, introducing to you the Bougainvillea 簕杜鵑 Tunnel in Cheung Sha Wan.
Spring in Hong Kong is very humid, which I don’t like it (who else doesn’t like it too 🤦🏻♀️) But this is the only time you see flowers of different kinds bloom and it’s time to take some beautiful pictures 📸 We went there on Sunday morning, the flowers are still in full bloom. Fun fact:
The colour of petals of Bougainvillea is WHITE but NOT pink. The pink colour “petal” you see is actually the bract. (See last photo)
