Sai Kung has always been my favourite weekend destination. This is where I can get away from the hustle and bustle and have dim sums and coffee with my dogs (check out the last video 😆), visit my favourite “fishing boat” seafood market, and the giant fish in the Chinese restaurants always amazes me (Don’t forget to get an ice-cream from the mobile softee 🍦). Note that it could be quite busy during the weekend!

If you plan to spend your whole day in Sai Kung, coffee and dim sums are just not enough, check out the nearby islands and Geopark! Consider joining a guided tour to Sharp Island 橋咀島 and Hong Kong’s most well-preserved Hakka village - Yim Tin Tsai 鹽田梓. Check out Hong Kong Greetersfor the details of this exciting English tour on 21 June and 19 July. By the way, Sharp Island is listed as the “9 of Asia's Most Underrated Attractions” by CNN Travel 😱This is where you can find the pineapple rocks (see the photo)! Come and explore!

How to go: Take MTR to Diamond Hill station, Exit C2. Take bus 92. Or Take MTR to Shatin station and then bus 299X.
