ทีมพัฒนาเกม OnceLost Games ประกาศเปิดตัว The Wayward Realms เกม RPG Open-World น้องใหม่ที่ระบุว่าเป็นเกม RPG ที่เต็มไปด้วยความต้นฉบับของตัวเอง และความทะเยอทะยาน

The Wayward Realms ได้มี Ted Peterson และ Julian LeFay อดีตหัวหน้าฝ่ายนักออกแบบสร้างสรรค์ให้เกมตระกูล The Elder Scrolls มามีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างเกมดังกล่าว โดยทีมพัฒนากล่าวในรายละเอียดเกมเบื้องต้นว่า The Wayward Realms คือ "The Grand RPG" ซึ่งมีสเกลขนาดใหญ่ กับมีระบบ RPG ล้ำลึก
