邀請各位敬拜者進入禁食的操練。禁食禱告唔同絕食抗議進逼當權者的手段。禁食也不是要求上主快手解決困局的捷徑。
禁食禱告是將自己從雜亂的聲音中,tune正去收聽神聲音的操練。以後的路有很多,可以做的有很多。但做神喜悅的,才是我們應該尋求和實踐的。願主的平安與大家同在。在漆黑的森林中,主必用杆用杖指引我們方向。
在此時此地的香港,政府的麻木不仁令我城我民,尤其是新一代陷入困境,我們悲痛哀傷。
面對嚴峻的局勢,唯有為我城禁食祈禱,祈求上主解除在香港發生的不公義現象,使被欺壓的得自由,使這城得醫治(賽五十八6-9)。
禁食之期從6月24日直至6月30日,鼓勵信徒禁食禱告,可一日、兩日或連續七日禁食,為我們的城市舉哀,禱告這城得醫治。

時間:24/6-30/6(為期七天,按感動可選一至七天禁食)
七天禱告方向:
24/6 為政府官員
25/6 為示威人士
26/6 為教會教牧

禁食禱告指引
1. 禁食時間長短次數可按實際情況而決定:初嘗試禁食的可以每日禁食一餐,然後是每日兩餐,再逐漸延長至一天或二天。有禁食操練習慣者可連續三日至七日的禁食。
2. 禁食時間內一般是不進食或不吸收營養,但可按需要選擇喝開水或果汁。
3. 在禁食期間若遇到身體不適,請立時終止禁食行動。
4. 孕婦、(長期)病患者或體質弱者可另選擇素餐或便餐代替禁食。
5. 禁食期間,建議用原來進餐的時間祈禱,並盡量選擇一個安靜的地方進行。
Here and now in Hong Kong, we all feel deep sorrow as the callousness of the government has put our city and our people, especially the young ones, in hot water.
Facing this severe situation, we must fast and pray for our city. Pray that the Lord will abolish the injustice in HK, set the oppressed free, and heal this land. (Isaiah 58:6-9).
The fasting period starts from June 24th to June 30th. Believers are encouraged to fast and pray, for 1 day, or 3/5/7 consecutive days, to mourn and pray for this city to be healed.

1. The length and times of fast can be determined according to the actual condition. If you are just beginning, you may start with fasting for one meal a day, then two meals, and gradually extend to one or two days. For those who have been practicing fasting can go for 3 to 7 consecutive days.
2. Usually, during the fasting period, we do not intake nutrients, but may consume water or juice as needed.
3. If you experience physical discomfort during fasting, please stop immediately.
4. Pregnant women, patients (with chronic illness) or those who are physically weak may consider vegetarian or light meals instead of fasting.
5. During fasting, it is recommended to pray at the original meal time at a quiet place.
