這個禮拜分別在香港和台灣的媒體一共發表了五篇文章，回頭看覺得自己如此忙碌也能做得到真是不可思議。三篇是專欄，兩篇是專題。平均千五字或以上。
我寫作的能量一直很澎湃，從小就如此。只要一開始寫就停不下來。從來沒有選擇命運的煩惱，都是命運選擇我。我的文字一直帶著我走自己的人生路。感謝上天如此眷顧。

A total of five articles were published in Hong Kong and Taiwan this past week. Looking back, it feels incredible that I managed it whilst being so busy. Three are columns and two are features, averaging thousand five hundred words or more.
The energy of my writing has always been high, ever since I was a child. As long as I started writing, I couldn’t stop. Never have the trouble of choosing fate, it is fate who chose me. My words have always taken me on my own path, so blessed.

King Hezekiah was wise to make a problem directed at him, into a problem directed at Yahweh (the pre-incarnate Jesus).
He prayed, making the battle belong to Jesus and gave Him all the glory for the eventually victory.

“Turn your ear, Yahweh, and hear. Open your eyes, Yahweh, and behold. Hear all of the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to defy the living God. Truly, Yahweh, the kings of Assyria have destroyed all the countries and their land, and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone; therefore they have destroyed them. Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you are Yahweh, even you only.”” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭37:17-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

As a child of God, the power to defeat your enemies is not found in yourself, but who you have on your side.
When you place your trust in Jesus and rest in Him, God goes to war on your behalf.

“Therefore Yahweh says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither will he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it. By the way that he came, by the same he shall return, and he shall not come to this city,’ says Yahweh. ‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.’” Yahweh’s angel went out and struck one hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies. So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, went away, returned to Nineveh, and stayed there. As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭37:33-38‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Why will God defend you? It’s not based on His whim and emotions. There is a rock-solid covenantal reason to ensure it.
By the Covenant of Grace, God will protect you because you are a blood-bought child of God who is perfectly righteous in Christ.
God will surely protect you for Jesus’ sake.

No matter how intimidating your enemy is, nothing is too hard for God.
If He could slay 185,000 Assyrian soldiers and the king of Assyria when king Hezekiah was slumbering and doing nothing, then he can easily protect you from that enemy coming against you.

1) Accrue （増加する）
=================================
　
Accrueは、物の価値や量が時間と共に増えていくことを表す単語です。貯蓄したお金の利息が年々増えたり、逆にカードローンの金利で借金額が徐々に増えていくような状況で使われるのが一般的です。
　
＜例文＞
　
How many paid vacation days have you accrued so far?
（今のところ、どれくらい有給休暇がたまってるの？）
　
You should start your retirement fund as early as possible. The earlier you start, the more interest you’ll accrue.
（できるだけ早く退職基金の積み立てを始めた方がいいよ。始めるのが早ければ早いほど利息が増えるからね。）
　
Before I knew it, I accrued over $10,000 in debt.
（気づいた時には借金が1万ドルを超えていました。）

2) Here and there（あちこち）
=================================
　
Here and thereは「あちこち」に相当する表現です。例えば、「コンビニがあちこちにある」は「There are convenience stores here and there.」と言うことができます。物理的な意味だけでなく、「アメリカ人の同僚の言っていることが、ところどころ聞きとれる」といった場合もhere and thereを使って表現できます。
　
＜例文＞
　
You can find bookstores here and there in Japan.
（日本では本屋さんがあちこちにあります。）
　
I’ve been trying to save money here and there.
（ちょこちょこお金を節約するように頑張っています。）
　
I can’t understand everything but I’ll pick up a few words here and there.
（全ては理解できませんが、ところどころ聞き取れます。）

3) More than enough（十分すぎる）
=================================
　
Enoughは「十分」ですが、more than enoughと言うと、「十分すぎる」ことを表します。必要以上に大量買いをしたり、時間があり余っていたり、仕事ぶりが期待以上であるなど、様々な状況で使うことができます。
　
＜例文＞
　
You don’t have to buy that much meat. That’s more than enough.
（そんなにお肉を買わなくていいよ。多すぎるくらいだよ。）
　
There’s no need to rush. We have more than enough time.
（急ぐ必要はないよ。時間は十分にあるから。）
　
You’ve done more than enough. Thanks for helping out today.
（こちらが望んでいた以上にやってもらった。今日は手伝ってくれてありがとう。）

4) No less than（最低でも〜）
=================================
　
No less thanは「最低でも〜」という意味の表現です。At leastと似ていますが、no less thanは量や数が大きいことを強調する場合に使われる傾向があります。例えば、「イベントには最低でも1000人はいた」は、「There were no less than a thousand people at the event.」と言うことができ、ここでは参加人数が多かったことを強調しています。
　
＜例文＞
　
It’s really expensive. It’ll cost you no less than five hundred bucks.
（それ、すごく高いよ。最低でも500ドルはするだろうね。）
　
When I first started my business, I worked no less than 60 hours a week.
（起業した当初は最低でも週60時間は働いていました。）
　
It was a great turnout. There were no less than a hundred people there.
（大盛況でしたね。最低でも100人はいましたよ。）

5) Bond with（強い絆で結ばれる）
=================================
　
Bondは本来、2つのものがくっつくことを意味することから、bond withは、家族や友人、恋人などとの絆が強いことを表す表現です。
　
＜例文＞
　
It took me time to bond with my coworkers.
（同僚と仲良くなるまで時間がかかりました。）
　
I thought he was a really nice guy. I felt a bond with him.
（彼はすごくいい人で、絆を感じました。）
　
He has a strong bond with his siblings.
