It's been a brutal year for Michael Tsang and his Hong Kong Free Tours.

At peak season, he says he takes up to 60 travelers on walking tours every day. Catering to those eager to dive deep into the city's economic and political system, Tsang takes visitors through local markets, "cage homes" and subdivided flats.

But half a year of protests have scared the tourists away. He says he now takes 5 to 10 guests on each tour through Hong Kong.

"Before the protests, we were planning to even double our tour because they were more people joining. Obviously that plan is not going to go ahead," he says.

Hong Kong has recorded its biggest decline in tourists in 16 tears, with the number of arrivals plunging by half in November. Here's our report on the deepening economic pain being felt in the city, and the surprising forecast for 2020.

In July 2015 I filmed a few clips because I wanted to show you guys where I lived in Tokyo. I went out with my brother in the evening and had a great time walking around the streets of Aoyama Itchome. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten to editing together these clips for 3 years! Now, as a memory of the place I once called home, I made a little compilation of the happy moments of 5 July 2015. Before I get too old and don't even look like this anymore, haha. My Japanese wasn’t excellent, my hair was much longer, my brother and I were still in the same country, but the memories are fresh and sentimental. I hope you enjoy the compilation! Sorry for the quality, this was really 3 years ago.
