Unpretentious good food at this French modern bistro tucked away in TTDI. Let the food speak for itself @topshelf_kl offers casual dining & the food here pays homage to modern French cooking.
What I’ve tried:
*Spanish Pork Belly RM49 (2nd Pic)
-Saffron Risotto, Bacon & Gremolata (a green sauce made of chopped parsley, lemon zest & garlic). The absolutely tender pork belly definitely complemented well with the deliciously simple saffron risotto. You would be able to witness the perfect marriage on this plate - The tender pork belly, zesty Gremolate & the plump & al dente center of Risotto, well thought out and executed for sure.
Another favourite of mine here was the
*Mushroom Orzo Pasta RM 36
-Marinated mushrooms, bacon & truffle egg. Orzo is a small flat oval-shaped pasta that requires very little time to cook. It’s not rice but it's a small, rice-shaped pasta. It feels like you are eating rice but no you are not because you are able to taste that ‘al dente’ texture. With the added tasty crispy bacon pieces, this creamy orzo is definitely a must-try here. Really difficult to describe the overall flavour profiles but if you are a fan of mushrooms, bacon and creamy pastas, this is not to be missed.
What we had as starters:
Moules Mariniere RM39
My very first ‘good’ mussels experience was in Brussels. The whole Moules Frittes, you either love them or no. But oh well I’d eaten mussels in Brussels and finished off the plate of fries. Now, I’m here eating this Moules Mariniere with white wine, shallots and fresh herbs. The mussels from Topshelf were tender, and to pair it with toasted bread - it’s definitely the ultimate combo. Make sure to have it with bread and soak up all the scrumptious sauce. Would reorder when I visit again.
Liver Pate & Toast RM25
-Chicken Liver, Olive Tapenade & Toast
Just make sure to paté-up your toast repetitively before each bite :)
Escargot
-Baked French Snails in Pesto, Garlic & Butter.
Snails/escargots are one of those delicacies that people either love, adore or simply do not like. It’s your choice but for me - it’s something that I am ok to leave out in my order when I make a trip to Topshelf next time.

【曼谷精緻奢華的法式料理 | WATER LIBRARY CENTRAL EMBASSY】

這裏的料理在味道和擺盤上都非常精緻，從前菜到甜品都完美的呈現，講究食材新鮮和細膩的調味。每道菜都能見到多元素的點綴，可説是具有創意，美味多元讓人深深愛上法式料理。

? 歐式麵包佐松露奶油 Bread Basket with Truffle Butter
手工歐式麵包是會為每一桌送上的餐前點心 溫熱紮實帶有Q勁的麵包 搭上松露奶油在嘴裏散開來 簡單又美味。

? 黑松露龍蝦涼麵 Cold Capellini Pasta with Chilled Lobster
以黑松露，羊栖菜調味 襯托滑嫩爽口的龍蝦肉 是一道充滿濃濃海洋風味的前菜。每一口盡是精華在口中迸發。

? 波士頓龍蝦意大利麵 Boston Lobster Pasta
滿滿的龍蝦肉鋪在意大利麵上 龍蝦肉入口鮮嫩彈牙 吃起來順滑帶點微辣的細條意麵完美至極。

? 智利鱸魚佐蘑菇培根 Chilean Seabass with Bacon Mushroom Ragout
別看這簡簡單單的香煎智利鱸魚 其實是深藏不露的一道主食 以柚子和風醬汁再結合松露奶油調味 ，表面煎的香脆的鱸魚裏面的肉質卻是細膩鮮嫩 脆中帶嫩。搭配蘑菇以及培根碎一起吃 味道簡直讓人滿意。

? 酥皮蘋果塔與香草雪糕 Apple Tarte Tartin
剛出爐的酥皮蘋果塔充滿了焦香和奶油香氣 烤得半透明的蘋果味道恰到好處 酸甜香氣與肉桂的味道完美結合 再配上香草冰淇淋味道令人無法挑剔。

【COFFEE SIGNATURE | 低調而精緻的料理】

Coffee Signature開幕了一周年，
新菜單主打著Semi-Fine Dining的西式料理，
主要是讓客人可以從前菜, 湯品, 沙拉, 主食, 飲料, 甜品
一道一道細細品嘗。

這裏不僅在料理上非常講究，
食材用料也很實在，也完全不使用MSG烹調
吃得安心健康零負擔。
就連咖啡和飲料都不馬虎又有創意！

Appetizer:
? Bruschetta Shrimp RM16
從港口引進的大蝦，搭配Ebiko和美乃滋醬鋪在烤得香脆的法棍麵包上。可以吃到大蝦的鮮美肉質。

Soup:
? French Onion Soup RM18
使用雞高湯，和大量洋葱煮成濃湯，喝起來有洋葱的鮮甜味，
搭配著起司烤法棍一起吃更加美味。

Pasta:
? Linguine Creamy Mushroom RM20
蘑菇奶油醬比例很剛好，吃到最後也不會感覺膩。
再加上一顆低溫烹煮的Sous-vide溫泉蛋拌入一起吃非常順口。

Main Course:
? Espresso Coffee Chicken RM28
加入咖啡一起烹調的sous-vide鷄腿，搭配特調的Coffee Cream Sauce。微甜微苦還帶點焦香氣提升了味道。

?12hrs Sous-Vide Lamb Shank RM48
經過12小時Sous-Vide方式烹調的羊腿非常值得吃，軟嫩度掌握得剛好，而蒜頭和Mint Sauce去除了羊肉的膻气味。

? Salmon In Bag RM38
非常健康也很好吃的一道料理。紙包著的三文魚和西式香料一起焗烤，
完全鎖住了香氣和三文魚的鮮美。

Beverage:

使用高品質咖啡豆再經過長時間一滴一滴萃取的冰滴咖啡，
以不同的方式可以品嘗得到不一樣的滋味口感。

汉堡绝对是第一啦！我们尝试了牛肉汉堡 Loaded Beef 和 鸡肉汉堡 Cheddar Ranch都被那厚厚的肉给吓到了！这汉堡肉是店家特调所以味道好，新鲜多汁。

Creamy Chicken RM28
喜欢吃鸡肉的朋友可以点Creamy Chicken,看似很简单的煎鸡排可是那超级脆的鸡皮配上浓郁的香菇酱绝对是吃了会想念的哦!

Crab Stuffed Seabass RM36
最后一道一定要推存很特别的海鲜大餐啦！拿就是新鲜鱼肉配上螃蟹肉啦！是不是很特别叻！果然，我们没吃过鱼肉和蟹肉在一起的美食，那味道真的很特别，蟹肉的咸味搭配鱼肉的鲜味，超级好吃。

"Gala House" housed in the heritage building along Lebuh Muntri is a restaurant, café & bar that offer vast selection of burger, pasta and meat. The name has been established for quite a few years and since gaining popularity among local and tourist, setup is more of retro with a VW van as decoration.

Clam in Wine & Fresh Herbs Broth RM18, fresh and big clam cook with Sauvignon Blanc seasoning with cilantro, chilies, onions and fresh lime juice. Strong wine fragrance boost up clam natural sweetness.

French Onion Soup RM18, served at the right temperature with strong onion fragrance, soak with a slice of garlic baguette top with cheese. It taste very refreshing with sweetness from fresh onions.

Loaded Beef RM28, burger set comes with fries and greens as sides. As the name suggest LOADED, gigantic burger fill with super thick and juicy beef patty, filled with layer of cheese, crispy bacon, sautéed shiitake mushroom, caramelized onion and runny egg.

Cheddar Ranch RM28, burger set comes with fries and greens as sides. Perfectly season chicken patty are rich in flavor combined with smoked duck breast are surprisingly tasty. Sautéed spinach and shiitake mushroom added a layer of flavor as well.

Creamy Chicken RM28, served with a bed of mash potato top with creamy mushroom gravy. Chicken meat is well seasoned and the texture was tender with crispy skin.
Crab Stuffed Seabass RM36, thick cut seabass fill with fresh crabmeat and onions that gave a strong flavor to the lovely seabass. Served with mashed potato and roasted vegetables.
