When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in 2018 in a fairy-tale wedding at Windsor Castle, many believed that the independent, 🔖mixed-race American woman would breathe new life into Britain’s 🔖stuffy, 🔖conservative royal family.
2018年，梅根馬克爾與哈利王子在溫莎堡舉行如童話故事般的世紀婚禮之時，許多人相信這位崇尚自由、多元族裔的美國女性能為保守僵化的英國王室注入新氣息。
Born in Los Angeles to a white father and an African-American mother, Meghan developed an interest in television as a child while visiting the set of Married… With Children with her father, who worked as director of photography and lighting. Meghan studied both international relations and theater at Northwestern University, but 🔖ending up pursuing an acting career after landing a big role on Suits. During her seven seasons on the hit legal drama, the actress also found time to start a popular lifestyle blog, The Tig, and create two successful 🔖fashion lines.
梅根出生於洛杉磯，父親是白人而母親則是非裔美國人，身為攝影燈光執導的爸爸在她小時候帶她參觀《凡夫俗妻妙寶貝》影集拍攝，梅根便開始對電視圈產生濃厚興趣。梅根就讀於美國西北大學，雙主修國際關係與戲劇學位，因獲得了在美劇《金裝律師》演出主角的機會而決定走上演員之路。她參演這齣人氣法律影集到第七季，同時還找出時間經營自己的生活品味部落格〈The Tig〉，並創立了兩個成功的時裝系列。
After becoming the Dutchess of Sussex, however, Meghan had to give up her acting and fashion careers—being a princess, after all, is a full-time job. Between attending charity events, 🔖accompanying Prince Harry on overseas tours as representatives of the Queen, and giving birth to son Archie, Meghan had a busy schedule, ✏to say the least.
然而，成為薩塞克斯公爵夫人的梅根不得不放棄她的演員與時尚生涯，專心當英國王妃──畢竟這可是份全職工作。在參與慈善活動之餘，梅根也陪同哈利王子以女王代表的身分出席海外活動，並產下長子亞契，說她的行程滿滿一點也不為過。
