what's the makan plans this week??
I planned for McD corn pie on Friday. Haha.. I'm sucker for taro and corn pie (tried in HK once, not sure if Msia version will be ok or....😂).
I did try a "hot" PG CKT outlet recently but my plate of CKT wasn't great. Perhaps a re-visit is soon.
Hailidao last Fri @1U was decent as usual (my 2nd HDL visit). Their soup bases are good, but the fishballs/beef slice/prawns/tilapia/beancurd etc are standard. Felt that 70% of the bill is for service and the soups.
Enjoyed a Red Kettle egg tart last week too - must admit it is still one of the better ones around.
