因以為9/1~9/15期間不能測LitPro而讓Eugene停止測驗了兩週，後來Eugene在閱讀選擇上也繞了很大一圈才走回『Cam Jansen』，也因為讀完『A to Z Mystery』系列而提升了她對『Cam Jansen』的駕馭力，接二連三的追完『Cam Jansen』這34本書~

Cam Jansen 這系列的故事真是好看!!
劇情鋪陳對兒童來說不易猜透偵探梗, 故事其犯罪原因也不牽強, 加上作者賦予主角Cam超能的記憶力, 引領著讀者去抽絲剝繭找線索破解, 看到最後總能會心一笑的闔上書本。

剛開始3本陪Eugene朗讀是考量從『Nate the great』到『Cam Jansen 』的難度變高而陪同，
當時還沒滿5歲的Eugene也很依賴有媽咪的陪伴，
雖然一本書朗讀完的時間要花很多時間，
但到第四本起Eugene覺得搭著音頻閱讀便很上手了。
這套書在喜馬拉雅FM的音頻並不多可搭讀聆聽，
中間正好隔一段時間先追完『A to Z Mystery』後，
那些沒有音頻的書目都是在Eugene自己能獨立閱讀了，
並在LitPro測驗和AR測驗的測驗結果來推斷Eugene是能理解的，
Eugene也每每讀完後好喜歡告訴我後面的 Memory game,
並且模仿Cam的記憶力還問我是不是像Cam一樣厲害(笑)...

這樣的大量閱讀除了豐富Eugene的學習見聞上，
奠定了不少她使用英文和增強英文力的能量(大心)

Happy Thursday! We had an awesome mum-and-kids outing to Sentosa (Official) and did something which we've always wanted to do - visit 4D AdventureLand!

I knew the girls have been very excited about this day and it's awesome to see how the toddler was game enough to go on all the rides too (kids below 3 enjoy FREE admission!).

We went on the newest attraction - Haunted Mine Ride 4D, which wasn't as spooky as we thought but oh boy, it was so fun to dive into an old gold mine and go on a thrilling roller coaster ride which kind of reminded me of an action-packed scene from Indiana Jones.

Our top favourite rides were the Extreme Log Ride, a 4D virtual simulation ride where you plunge into crocodile infested rivers and plummet down waterfalls, and Desperados, an interactive 4D shoot-out game that transports you to the Wild West where you chase and shoot bandits while riding on your 'horse'. These two rides were the most fun-filled ones and I can only say we had a good laugh and a good scream from all the twist, turns, drops and dips.

There is also the 4D immersive movie - Journey 2 The Mysterious Island which we can relate to because we have seen the movie (and we love Dwayne Johnson). Be prepared to go through a tornado, brave a giant lizard and electric eel and make your escape through a submarine.

Go to my Instagram to see more snippets from tonight (photo and video taking are not allowed during the shows). My hands were locked with the toddler the whole time to make him feel at ease since it could get pretty dim and I was just glad to see that the girls were totally enjoying every moment, didn't need me at all and kept saying they wanted to go on the rides again to experience the thrills. Oh well, I've a feeling this is just the beginning of an exciting school holiday!
