2020年對大家來說都不容易，包括遠距離感情。我們最後一見面是年頭一月尾，你來吉隆坡一起過農曆新年，那個一整天塞車的金馬崙高原。萬萬沒想到，三月尾因為疫情全世界陸續封國。

剛開始，我們還蠻樂觀的說可能兩三個月後就能見面了。四月的時候期待五月，五月期待七月，七月期待九月。就這樣到了九月份，我們都隱約知道短期內不可能見到面了。轉眼2020就快過去，我們分開快一年了，如果沒有視訊這回事我想局面可能會更複雜。我們偶爾還會開玩笑的說，這期間如果各自遇到新的對象，那也沒辦法了XD。有時我們也會嚷嚷著說，快忘了兩個人相處在一起的感覺，也許這個感覺只有經歷過遠距離的人比較容易理解。但心裡知道，在一起兩年，你已經是我的生活一部份。還沒見到你一面，我的生活無法完整回來。有時你還會開玩笑說，這一年不算數，我們還是只在一起兩年。等到不知何時可以見面的時候，也不知道是分開多久的事了。

有一天晚上我們聊到這件事的時候，語氣不耐煩的我一直在埋怨，沒想到你在視訊裡傳來一句：Be patient，一定會等到那一天的。你知道嗎？這句話就像雷劈下來的擊中紅心，平時比我更沒耐心，什麼事都急的你竟然說出這句話。因此，才有了這一首歌。我已經快一年多沒寫新歌了，沒想到這一次的感受如此強烈，也讓我體會到愛是需要等待的。這一年心靈上也吸收和學會了很多，放下自己該放下的執著，放下該放下的人事物，時間用在值得的地方。十月的時候領養了一隻貓，雖然在視訊裡你們見過面了，但真的很期待見面時，我們三個一起相處的小日子。相信經過這一次，我們一定會更成熟的去愛。直到見面那一天，會不會像我們說的兩個人有可能會哭出來，那就拭目以待吧。Take care

2020 hasn't been easy to all of us .The same goes without saying on a long-distance relationship. End of January, our last met. You visited KL to celebrate Chinese New Year together. We drove to Cameron Highlands. That awful traffic jam! Who could possibly have imagined then, in March the world were to have their borders closed and a pandemic.

We certainly were able to keep our spirit up at first. Well, two, or three months later, things will be over and we'll be seeing each other again. We thought. In April, we set our hope again on May. When May came, it seemed our best shot was probably July. Then it was July, we can only expect September. Sooner than we knew it was already September. One thing we did know this time, it's best not to expect anything than sooner. 2020 has now come to its end. We are apart for a year. It must had been more complicated it it weren't for all the video calls. Sometimes we joked about letting each other go, for if a better person happened to show up at this moment. Other times we struggled because we felt something seemed fading away. Perhaps that's how exactly a long-distance relationship is. Of course I know my heart. We have been in a relationship for two years, you are a part of me. Without you being here in my life, my life is yet completed. Once you said we shouldn't add this year as our relationship milestone, it should remain 2 years. For we cannot know how long we still have to be apart until the day we can meet again.

Another evening this topic was brought up, again. In our video call all i did was non stop complaining , not a pleasant tone. "Be patient.", you said, "the day will come for sure." This moment caught my heart totally. I know how quick temper you are than me usually on everything. Hearing this from you was a blow and a shout to my heart. That's how it got me writing this song. Before this, I haven't composed any piece of song more than a year. Our conversation that night touched my heart and deepen my feelings. I have come to an understanding of the reason of being patient in all these, for something greater behind it. Love, awaits. I learn not to cling on my thoughts and ideas. Let go. That helps me focusing on the moment, the present. Hey, I adopted a cat, you know that right? You have met each other on video calls. I look forward to the day you both meet, the days when three of us spending time together. After what we have been going through, i believe our love will only grow matured. We will know how to love. When the day is here, when we finally see each other. We might not be able to hold our tears. Though I am sure it is only for happiness.Take care.

All good. All fine. To all of us.
This too shall pass. Be patient.

港實業家袁弓夷給美國務卿蓬佩奧的一封信：請救救香港的孩子。

親愛的國務卿蓬佩奧鈞鑒，我以愛好自由的香港人名義，感謝你對香港的支持。今年是天安門64屠城的31周年。在中國對民主渴望上的重要時刻。

您選擇了支持香港爭取自由，說明在此關鍵時刻，您與香港的英雄們真誠地站在一起爭取人權。這些數以百萬計的英雄們是為自己家園的未來挺身而出的普通香港人；還有那些無名的律師、義工、醫護人員、記者、藝人緊守崗位，讓我們的聲音得以傳播；也是那些敢於繼續為做對的事而站出來的年青人。

但是，爭取自由需付出大代價。這些戰士是我們的孩子，也是香港社會普普通通的孩子。

在過去的12個月，有太多的孩子被拘捕、虐待、強姦、謀殺，同時有孩子懷疑已經被送中，秘密被關到集中營，再也沒有音訊了。

為爭取保護自己城市機會，他們犧牲了自己的工作，據「Hong Kong watch」公佈，從去年6月9號至今，已經有8,934位抗爭者被捕，年齡介乎11到84歲。繼他們後，誰還去抗爭？要犧牲多少個我們年輕人的未來才能換到基本的自由？

它們正在抹去我們的語言；
我們香港人的身分
我們的言論自由
我們的法治
我們的孩子

現在，我們需要美國去抵禦中共。若等到6月底讓國安法通過，就等同在等待著另一場大屠殺的展開。

中共以「會收手」做偽裝，讓世界允許其犯下對無辜生命的殘暴行為。它們是永遠不會停手的，直到它們控制了世界，包括美國。

如現在不阻止中共，就會太遲了！我們必須吸取歷史教訓，姑息政策從來沒成功過。

中共已經背棄《中英聯合聲明》中對港人「一國兩制」的承諾。世界領袖不單止是要支持，而是要爭取的時刻已經到來。如果成功，歷史將會記住美國是一個敢於承擔、真正為民主發聲的國家。

我懇請：
因中華人民共和國已經背棄了它在《中英聯合聲明》中的所有責任。香港的主權應該恢復給英國。請說服您的英國盟友在此刻做對的事；就是將主權移交給香港人，條件是在6個月內，在國際獨立監查下，完成真正的公投，讓港人自己選擇他們的未來。

香港是屬於香港人的。

在公投前，我們需要美國的軍隊保護香港，像當年保護西德，免受中共無休止地干預、滲透、欺騙和鎮壓我們的孩子。您在香港的8萬5千子民也需您的保護。

最後，當您致力於再次維持南中國海安全時，請把我們列入您的戰事計劃中，因為我們也是南中國海的部份。

The coming June 4th is the 31st anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre. A pivotal moment in China’s hope for democracy.

Your decision to stand with freedom in Hong Kong shows your true dedication to human rights in today’s watershed moment, with the heroes of Hong Kong.

The millions of everyday Hong Kongers marching for the future of their home.

The nameless lawyers, volunteers, medical staff, journalists, artists doing their part to keep our voices alive.

The youth of Hong Kong daring to stand up for what they know in their heart to be right.

But the fight for freedom has come at great cost.

These warriors are our children and every day Hong Kong kids.

And in the last 12 months, Too many have been arrested, tortured, raped, murdered and many allegedly shipped across the border to secret concentration camps, never to be heard of again.

Giving up their lives for a chance at the preservation of their city.

8934 protestors aged between 11 and 84 years have been arrested since June 9th 2019.

After them, who will be left to fight?

How many of our young will have to sacrifice their futures for basic rights?

They are erasing our language.
Our identity as Hong Kong people.
Our right to speak.
Our rule of law.
Our children.

We need the US to stand up to the CCP, NOW.

Waiting for the National Security Law to be passed in late June is waiting for another Holocaust to begin.

The world has allowed China to commit mass atrocities against human lives under the pretense that one day they will stop.

They will never stop until they control the world, including America.

If it doesn’t stop here now, it will be too late.

We must learn from history that appeasement will NEVER work.

The one country two systems promised Hong Kong in the joint Sino-British Declaration has been obliterated.

Now is the moment for our world leaders to not only stand up, but to fight. If done, history will remember America as a nation that dared, truly, to be a voice for freedom.

Here is what I ask:

Since the PRC has reneged on all its obligations in the Joint Sino British Declaration, HK Sovereignty should revert back to the UK. Please convince your ally UK to do the right thing this time, by transferring the Sovereignty back to the people of HK, on the condition of a genuine referendum in 6 months, supervised by international and independent judges, to choose their own future.

Hong Kong belong to HK people.

Before the referendum, we need your troops to keep HK safe as West Berlin, from the Communist’s never ending interferences, infiltrations, cheating and persecution of our youths. Your 85,000 US citizens in HK also need your protection.

Lastly, while you are working to make South China Sea safe again, please include us in your battle plan.

We are also in the South China Sea.

Mr. Secretary, as an ally in the free world, please

make HK safe again.

This is the English translation of a post of another ICU physician in Bergamo, Dr. Daniele Macchini. Read until the end. After much thought about whether and what to write about what is happening to us, I felt that silence was not responsible.

I will therefore try to convey to people far from our reality what we are living in Bergamo in these days of Covid-19 pandemic. I understand the need not to create panic, but when the message of the dangerousness of what is happening does not reach people I shudder.

here的用法如果一定要用倒裝的角度來看,可能才是這個問題的所在

其中在講東西的時候會有兩種狀況

here is/are something(非代名詞)

here it/they(代名詞) is/are

講人的時候有很多意思,但是人都是在動詞之前,意思有

1. 給東西給別人(第六條)

2. 表示做一件沒做過的事(第八條)

3. 表示開始做一件事或一件事開始發生(第九條)

4. 表示人已經到達(第十一條)

5. 表示旅途的終點(第十二條)

等等...

另外
here comes somebody/something則表示看到甚麼東西正到達

網頁版沒有提到,在電腦版則有特別註明

here

回來再看題目...文義可能有很多但是答案就很明顯只有一個

很有趣的是,Longman根本不提倒裝這件事,到底是誰規定這個東西跟倒裝有關?

很多英文版本的文法書在講倒裝也不會把"here"拿出來大書特書

把這個問題單純用倒裝思考,這才是我們台灣英語教育的問題...
