Pet hate is endless ab workouts that just show 100 reps + of spinal flexion sit ups. As someone with a history of back pain, I have to be careful with what core exercises I choose so as not to flare any old problems. See the video for my FAVOURITE core exercises (without equipment)
If you are choosing isometric (static) holds and are a novice start with 3 sets of 10 seconds and slowly build up! The hollow hold is more advanced than it looks, make sure your lower back is firmly on the ground, if you can fit your hand under then bring your legs in closer and create a ‘tuck crunch hold’
