When I first met Yayasan TM Director, En. Abdul Hamid back in 14th July 2019 on French National Day celebration at French Ambassador Residence.
We spoke and came across that they are going to organise a 5km Charity Run to celebrate Yayasan TM 25th Anniversary. The run will be starting from TM Tower to UM and back to TM Tower. At that point of time, they haven’t started to progress about the planning of the run. I shared with them about the idea on organising a Tower Run and it’s much easier to organise and work towards it since the race course is only require the stairs in the TM Tower. I asked for their name card and I will come to their office and do a presentation about the run.
On 1st August, I did the first presentation and present the idea to them at their office, facing each and everyone of the Yayasan TM Team including the director. After convincing them, doing my best to get all of them to visualise on how the execution part, the race day like and how the safety of the race are being ensure and as the top priority. Even coming out with calculation on how individual flag off works from 1000 to 2000 participants.
As TM is a big corporate company with too many departments handling different roles of it. I got the contact of TM Management Unit (TMU) from them to get the approval of using the stairs. Another meeting have been scheduled to convince the TMU on a later date. I spoke to JomRun and happy to have them support the tower run idea and eventually they became the Event Organiser for this tower run.
While I was traveling to Da Nang for participating in Da Nang International Marathon 10KM, I was carrying my iPad with me and at the night time, I was preparing all the presentation, a more detailed plan for the tower run. More and more meeting being scheduled to TM Communication and Branding Department about the tower run, then come back to Yayasan TM department on setting up each and everyone about their role on this event.
I am also manage to get some of my junior from Sport Management in UM to come and assist Yayasan TM on this and they are able to learn to work with corporate staff and gain real life experience on the journey to host an international event.
Soon or later, Malaysia Towerrunning Association got approved by Pesuruhjaya Sukan on the 23rd of Aug 2019 and it was just a day before Ostankino Tower Run, a 200-point factor race in Moscow, Russia. I became the President of the Association and the real challenge begin. I was in Moscow that time and I spoke to the TWA President right away about this good news and looking forward on more international race are being held in Malaysia in the future. I want to build a towerrunning community in Malaysia and produce a strong team to bring up Malaysia Ranking in the National Ranking under TWA.
Tonnes of whatsapp call with person in charge from Yayasan TM and JomRun and my team while I was in Moscow and Italy for races. Definitely the most challenging oversea trip I ever had. Racing, sightseeing, moving from place to place, and still have to deal with the whole race planning. It was a tough one as I am the one that understand fully on each and every details of hosting a tower run plus with many new elements were being introduced to this race (first individual flag off event for all participants, competitive and non-competitive mode, water station setup outside the stairs, marshall placing and their duty, evacuation plan, the flow of the event, even sponsorship).
I prepared the sponsorship slide as well to get more sponsors onboard for this event in less than 2 months time. Initially the event was going to schedule on October, thankfully we managed to postponed it to 10th Nov with an extra month to prepare for it. We were also in a pretty last minute to get the race sanction by Towerrunning World Association under 120 point factor and manage to get the World Top Ranking Towerrunner come and take part in the race and make the race an International one.
Throughout the journey, whenever I was having meeting with new and upcoming potential sponsors for myself, I told them about the TM Tower Run as well. I am glad to have them support the race first before they decide to sponsor me, but some of them decided to support me first and support on Towerrunning sport as well. I am also glad to have my team to replace me for the meeting and to assist on leading the trial run while I was in oversea for Towerrunning race. I would also like to thank Pn. Zulitha from Yayasan TM on putting in tremendous effort on making this event a success. Without her, I will not dare to imagine how the race going to be on the race day.
Long story short, I am satisfied with the whole event and giving a rating of 7/10 leading up the race. I believe it can be much better with a longer time of planning and definitely the 2nd edition going to be much better and well planning. I have learn and gain so much experience on this 3 months journey.
Being the athlete who took part in the race, and also being part of the organising team on making sure the event smooth, follow what have been planned, participants’ safety, and want them to have a good experience in the tower run and come back again next year are one of the most challenging task I ever had in my life.
People asked me, why you want to make your life harder, busy by doing all these when your goal is just to be World No. 1 in Towerrunning sport? I told them I can choose not to be part of all these and fully focus in training and achieve my goal to be World No. 1 but what I want is the sport to grow, hoping that one day the sport can be including in Olympic Sport. I am not just wanting personal success but I see the potential of towerrunning sport can be grow into something big, grand, and international level event due to it’s beauty of sport and the modern urban buildings or towers that the world is building up in the future.
To me, I love Towerrunning Sport and it’s my passion on doing all these, contributing back to the community. To be honest, I didn’t get any payment on contributing all my effort, time on organising this event. I would risk everything to ensure the sport grow, just like how I risk everything to do full-time training as I am a strong believer that I will achieve it with the right planning, effort I put in and of course the support from my family and friends.
“Ask not what your sport ministry can do for you for your sport but what you can do for your sport to grow the sport eventually one day without needing any help from them and able to grow with all the other support you have.”
Thank you once again for reading the long story here. I hope I can inspire you to chase your dream and willing to put in the effort for it.

【桃花桃花開了嗎?】(English writing below)
HAVE YOUR PEACH BLOSSOMS BLOOMED?

Is self confidence, or faking it, able to attract wealth?
A few weeks ago, a FB friend remarked that I am very confident in my FB lives, while she was always nervous before her FB Lives.
This got me thinking about the issues of self-confidence, good looks and Peach Blossom luck.
When Jay Chou first debuted, his baseball cap was pulled very low to hide his face, as he was not very confident of himself. Yet, his first album sold like hotcakes.
Compared to Wang Lee Hom, Jay Chou's features are not outstanding. However, his popularity has proven to be more far-reaching than the former.
Why so? Because of his Peach Blossom luck, hence the unexpected rise to stardom.
Jay Chou's Peach Blossom luck isn't directly reflected on his facial features, but in his songs. Hence, fans will attest to the worthiness of listening to his songs a hundred times.
Most people think that Peach Blossom Luck is related to love and lust. They are right. Hence many famous people tend to have some sex-related scandals. Jay Chou once said, he is definitely a filial son, but is not a good man.
In my FB Live last Thursday, I mentioned that for one to be successful in business, you must have some degree of Peach Blossom Luck.
You need the love and support from the masses (be it suppliers, customers, employees, partners etc), and you will have a much easier time doing business.
If you cannot be unique in the eyes of your customers, then you are easily replaceable.
A person in Peach Blossom Luck will give out a kind of light from his/her body, attracting the eyeballs of people, who find him/her irresistible and are unable to take their eyes off the person. He or she is a walking magnet of attraction.
The same words spoken by Mr A elicit no response from his readers, but when Mr B says it, a furry of likes, shares and comments rush in like a tsunami.
The difference? Peach Blossom luck.
But these Peach Blossoms can only bloom wildly throughout the meadows, if you are in the right line of work.
As I said before, Jay Chou's Peach Blossom luck is in his songs (note: songs, not singing voice). Hence the sales from his movies and hosting will not be better than those from his music.
Among the Four Heavenly Kings, Jackie Cheung is not the most handsome. In his early days, he has not much self confidence either. But his Peach Blossom Luck is in his singing voice, hence winning him the esteemed title of The God of Songs and selling over 25 million records as of 2003.
I once told a young man from my Feng Shui workshop, that his writing did not have any Peach Blossom Luck. Hence, if he wishes to make his first pot of gold through copywriting, it is impossible as he is unable to win the hearts of his clients, and hence, their customers.
The secret code of Peach Blossom Luck can be hidden in a person's Bazi or luck cycle. When you understand your own Destiny, do the right work in the right industry, and know how to unlock your Peach Blossom Luck, success will come much faster.
A male client of mine worked as a Executive Chef, which totally fitted his Bazi needs. However, he was struggling financially. I got down to the nitty gritty of his work scope, like what he had to do everyday. That was when I realised instead of doing A, he was doing B, which led to his financial struggles. Once I pointed out to him what he needed to change, he found a better job with much higher remuneration.
If you are not born with Peach Blossom luck, then you can rely on the power of a auspicious name to improve your inter-personal relations. This was what I did for myself.
The next way would be to set up a Feng Shui formation in your home/shop, to boost your popularity.
When I activate the Peach Blossom luck for my clients, I do not put monetary gains as my priority. Some clients have poor discipline, while some enjoy too much the attention from the opposite sex. If I am not choosy about which client to help, I will break up many happy families.
When you talk about fast food, the first place to come to mind is undoubtedly McDonald's. Many young children do not know the term "fast food", but they definitely know the name "McDonald's". During my teaching lessons, when the young children were asked to draw their favourite food, many of them would draw French fries. The thing is, they did not only draw the string potatoes, they also drew the fries and coloured them inside a red-coloured Letter M box.
Obviously McDonald's peddle junk food, yet they easily win the hearts of young children, and even "sensible" adults cannot put it down.
Such is the magnetism of super Peach Blossom Luck.
As you read till here, do you now know how to activate your own Peach Blossom Luck, and not let it harm you and your family?
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
If you are still clueless about it, I welcome you to seek my services. Let me help you open up the valley of 10-mile Peach Blossoms in your Bazi.

Kenting (墾丁, pronounced Ken-ding) is a popular holiday destination in Taiwan for tourists and locals. Come with us on a day trip to this beautiful place - there's lots more waiting for you here in Kenting!
HOW TO GET TO KENTING (FROM KAOHSIUNG):
FROM ZUOYING: The Kenting Express Bus leaves from Zuoying station (which contains both the high speed rail station and MRT station) and takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach Kenting Main Street. You can buy tickets from the Kenting Express Booth at the station (at the top of the escalators just outside the High Speed Rail Station) or you can buy tickets online here (http://ticket.fun2tw.com/Login.aspx). I recommend buying in advance for weekends, holidays and in peak season (July/August school holidays). The cost is nt300 per person, one way. The website is in Chinese but if you use the Chrome browser your phone/computer should automatically translate the pages - enough to figure out what you are doing. The bus has free wifi and USB charging ports.
FROM THE AIRPORT: There are also buses that leave from the Kaohsiung airport (also known as Xiaogang airport). You can only buy these tickets at the airport. There's a timetable here: http://www.ptbus.com.tw/09/%E8%87%A8918.htm. You'll notice the destination on the website reads "Xiaowan" - this beach is right next to Kenting main street.
FROM KAOHSIUNG TRAIN STATION: Buses also leave from Kaohsiung Main Station although the pickup point is not clearly signposted - it's behind the MRT station. At time of writing (April 2018) the Kaohsiung main station is under heavy construction and I would recommend just catching the MRT to Zuoying instead rather than trying to find the bus amongst the chaos!
Beware of taxi drivers convincing you to ride with them - the fare is never cheaper than the bus, they will make you wait until their taxi is full of passengers, and the ride will definitely be less comfortable. It's definitely best to ignore them and get on the bus!
What to do in Kenting
There's quite a lot to do in Kenting, Taiwan - but it might be a bit different from the beach holidays you are used to. You can:
Relax on the beach - get a beer at the beach bar at Xiaowan (https://goo.gl/maps/FexLoksFvjE2), find shelter under a crag - and if you have kids watch them play safely in the little stream that connects the river to the sea. There are also a range of water sports available here,
Browse the night market (https://goo.gl/maps/xE3cZZa5td52) - this starts at sundown and is reportedly the longest in Taiwan. My personal favourite snacks here are the fried milk and the banana pancake.
Visit the Aquarium (https://goo.gl/maps/uAuFRB7srd92) - I haven't done this yet but it's apparently a very good aquarium (just be aware that it's a bit outside Kenting, perhaps pair it with a day trip to Hengchun town),
Wander around Hengchun old town (perhaps start at Hengchun south gate (https://goo.gl/maps/eTMnSE2npC72) and work towards Hengchun old street),
Swim at Nanwan beach (https://goo.gl/maps/xbYP23YZ9AB2) - this beach is my personal favourite for swimming and it's also good for collecting shells and sea glass.
Learn to surf with Afei (who also runs a bed and breakfast): https://goo.gl/maps/tT7GEq363Xt
Enjoy a meal at Bossa Nova (https://goo.gl/maps/g1t4G8xekv52) run by a lovely Taiwanese family and their French daughter-in-law,
See fire coming out of the ground at Chuhuo natural gas spring (https://goo.gl/maps/Lncfvr5UVLs)
Bird watch at Longluantan (https://goo.gl/maps/kCtguhsi6Xk)
Eat sushi and ride in a glass bottom boat at Houbihu (https://goo.gl/maps/ZYbn5wKPMx12)
Snap a selfie at the southernmost point of Taiwan (https://goo.gl/maps/KTo14HuZc6E2)
Check out Sail Rock, a huge coral reef rock that apparently looks like President Nixon (https://goo.gl/maps/ZFLiC3Z9sf22)
How to get around Kenting
Hire an electric scooter - for nt600 per day you can hire a scooter to get around. There are many scooter hire stores on Kenting main street. No licence is needed but you do need your passport.
Catch the shuttle bus - a whole day ticket is nt150 and you can buy it on the bus - just say ONE DAY PASS clearly and they will understand. Map and timetable can be found here (http://www.ptbus.com.tw/03/0302a.htm), all in Chinese unfortunately. Alternatively, you can just pay with change as you go. The downside is that the buses don't come very often and the stops aren't that easy to find.
Taxi - being a holiday area, taxis often do not run the meter but will rather negotiate a fare with you up front. Taiwanese taxi drivers are generally not out to rip you off but you will definitely pay more than in other cities in Taiwan (if you are a westerner you will likely still think the price is very cheap compared to home). In return, you will ride in air conditioning!
