Learning a new skill is like getting a Christmas present, one way to stay active. This month finally started my handstand class with coach @bern_cw I waited for this since before PKP 😌 wanting to learn this like forever. Late bloomer bah me 🤪

My arms worked hard today and I burned a lot of calories for sure, also found the source of the pain from a previous injury around the right arm during the cooldown stretch. It was such a fun session, I was so nervous before. I will practice till I get it right. Holding a handstand for 30 sec against the wall repeat 3x 🤣 I know for a fact that I don't have the arm strength for this, so I was given a modified version for newbie. Practice makes perfect 👌🏼 Arms and core are two things that I need to work on.

You know you're unfit when your body shakes like crazy engaging your muscles and the weaker parts of your body started to jam coz you forgot to breathe 😂

His classes are every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5pm to 6:30pm. He also teaches Callistenics after. SOP applies, so check if there's slot.

First session is FREE. Walk-in is RM15. One month 8 session is RM100. If wanna PT also can, just DM him directly 👌🏼

My first time at @kungfudojosabah located at top floor, Sunny Garden this green building (behind Kuo Man Restaurant that row). I think I should follow my guts with location map instead of relying on Google Map 🤣

The uncle getting ready for ping pong at the 1st floor was friendly, ask if am doing Muay Thai 🤭 I actually arrived 30 minutes earlier and was admiring the plants at the parking area 🙈

This gym also offers other fitness classes like Xtreme Martial Arts (XMA), breakdance, Kungfu, Tricking and etc.

不断学习新运动技能的日子里, 让我领悟了 "专注" 学习. 只要你够专注, 没有事情是学不会的. 来健身房, 常看到很多人一直在滑手机, 跑步机上 “散步“ 追电视剧, 身体那个部分需要用力, 有没有拼命尽全力, 都完全没让身体感受到.
How do we learn things quickly? There is no magic to it, it's just focused strategic effort invested in something you care about and something that is going to be rewarding to yourself.
In our lives, we have thousands of distractions. During a practice process, turn off the TV, block the internet, close the door, turn off your cellphone. Remove the distractions that can take your focus away from whatever this thing that you are trying to practice is, and make sure that time that you have set aside. To practice in a way that is going to make you better is as undivided and focused as possible.
