Wanna know my secret to handling 4 kids during confinement?
My life is made easier thanks to Tian Wei Signature, which has been providing me with nutritious confinement meals since I came home. It's something I wish I had done for the past three childbirths so that I wouldn't have needed to bother my in-laws to cook for me at all back then. For someone like me who likes to depend on herself yet is busy taking care of the kids 24/7, confinement catering is definitely a lifesaver.
Every afternoon and evening, the meals are delivered to my doorstep punctually. All I have to do is open the door, take the thermal bag and tuck in straight away - yup, it's so easy and convenient. The soup and longan red date tea are even kept in thermal pots so they are still hot when served, how thoughtful!
Besides being breastfeeding-friendly, having no MSG and helping to boost my recovery, the meals consist of a huge variety and good mix of cuisine, and many of them are surprisingly delectable which makes me look forward to the next one. Knowing that the baby has jaundice, they also kindly prepare my food without using ginger so as not to aggravate his condition, an act which I truly appreciate.
Even my kids give the dishes their thumbs up and will ask for more at times - I have to remind them that these are specially meant for Mama! Haha. I personally love the meals and it's the first time I get to eat fusion food like spaghetti, Japanese food and Mediterranean inspired dishes, which makes mealtimes much more exciting. See my IG highlights for more.
I would definitely recommend Tian Wei Signature to all expectant and new mums because it gives us a peace of mind, helps to nourish and replenish our body, reduces our stress and makes confinement a much more enjoyable experience.
P.S. The meals come in portions meant for one adult only even though the kids like to nibble and share. I am thankful for the hubby who cooks for the kids, for takeaways on busy days and for kids who don't mind when Mama whips up simple dishes. We are almost at the end of my confinement already and I am gonna miss these yummy meals!

LIVE: Have we mentally prepared our KIDS for 2021?
Given the continued virulence of the virus, it is still unclear when is the reopening date for 2021. These decisions carry enormous social and economic implications and will have lasting effects on educators, on children and youth, on their parents – especially women – and indeed on societies as a whole.
My parent group chats is abuzz with these speculation – especially those who have been sending their kids to Kindergartens and/or private schools. With many losing jobs or getting huge pay cuts at work, the question on whether they can continue paying for their kids school education is on their minds. Pleas for rebates and discounts has been a continuous debate for most and even for us, while waiting for news from our school, we are now contemplating whether we should one, pull them out and try to apply for government schooling, two, homeschool and hire private tutors which is a bit more cost friendly or three “wait and see” method.
There are pros and cons for all these choices above, but at the end of the day, we want what’s best for the child. How are our children going to manage physically, emotionally and mentally with whatever decision we make?
What are the other possible solutions or options? Is there a possibility of hybrid learning and/or online schooling elsewhere that will be accepted by the school later on?

Our Lunch date session on Thursday went well. Thank you for those who turned up for it. There were also feedbacks on how the session had helped them. Big thanks on the feedback. Keep them coming. Let us know how it had benefited you, or what else we can do that can benefit you even more. Because these sessions are for you!
Tonight we are back with a Pj Party session. Nope, there wouldn't be any pillow fights between @jadeseah and i! On the contrary, tonight's gonna be slow and quiet. Even a little reflective to help quiet that anxious mind that's been going on and on and on.
All you need, is come in your pyjamas, prepare a hot drink and writing materials. If you have a habit of journaling like me, bring that along.
9pm tonight on Zoom. As usual, head over to @the_positive_movement to sign up so you'll be given the PW to join the session.
