M A S T E R C L A S S ❤️🤲✨ Here we go again, another eight weeks of unlearning and listening. Another eight weeks of holding sacred space to just slow down and pause. Quietly curious, an unfolding, both for the mamas that I lead and lead me to sacred inner worlds to repair and hold in reverence.
It’s an invitation to come home, to come inside to hidden places and loud thoughts that sometimes explode out when it hurts or we feel lost and overwhelmed.
The intense pressure of motherhood and fatherhood wears on a marriage so we make safe space to play, ask, laugh, cry, see.
Eight weeks and for some, an additional one-on-one centered around science and play, an action plan tailored intimately to their family created over conversation and partnership. Fuel for all the days and weeks after the program, a guide of sorts to remind them of their why and how and what.
We call it a groundbreaking rework of traditional parenting programs. But that’s just really fancy for we do it a little different and start with you. We take the science of what we know and use it to fiercely listen and fight for the child inside and in front of you, and you don’t have to do it alone. We gather together, make mistakes, share our stories, care deeply and cheer each other home.
What does your head and heart know?
Five cohorts in, each one unique and magically special to the little community that they build. I love that they come from around the world and all have such depth and beauty to add. We teach people, not topics. We go rogue. We run wild. We get curious.
For mama, it is a welcome to my heart. Carved out in there is all the mamas and daddies and their little ones that have come before. When you come through the program, you are intimately fought for, genuinely loved, relentlessly believed in. Known and called by name.
September 2021 cohort, we are so excited to welcome you not only to the program but to the village.
We’ve been waiting for you. We are ready. ❤️✨
Let’s grow together. 🌱

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR YOGA JOB INTERVIEW? - if you’re asking yourself the same question, 👀 along:
1️⃣- Have your photos taken. Other industries might not need a photo but in the field of yoga, almost every employer would ask for a photo to see how your practice is. So get some photos taken - professionally if possible.
2️⃣ - Have your bio ready. This should include how many and what trainings you have received. Highlight who your lead trainers were too. If possible, maybe ask your lead trainer to write a few comments (like a note of recommendation) about you. Highlight anything in the past that might make you a great hire too. If you're great with communicating with others, make sure you mention it.
3️⃣ - Research on the studio - Find out what the studio is; its background. Check out its website and IG, see what they offer and what is missing in their service. And see if you could provide what they need. If you know someone who's a member there, talk to them to get their perspective as a member. See what's working and what's not.
4️⃣ - Be yourself. At the interview, be honest and authentic. Employers are more interested in your personality and in seeing if you're a team player, rather than hoping you are the king of #handstand. A good interview is basically a good conversation. If this is your first interview, don't ask about the money right away. You should always ask questions and say thank you when you leave. Prepare a short sequence to demonstrate your teaching skills and keep the sequence simple. You don’t have to put your legs behind your head to teach a yoga class.
5️⃣- Leave a thank you note. Always say thank you after the interview. If you get the job, condragulations! If not, thank them again and ask for feedback. Find out how you could improve yourself and let them know that you are willing to work on those things.
These are my 5 tips on how to prepare for an interview and, most importantly, be reconsidered if you don't get the job right away. What do you guys think? Leave a comment if you have questions or got other useful tips too.
🏷 it or forward to someone if you find it useful 🙏🏼

“So, what’s your plan?”
This question get asked almost EVERY TIME when I meet a friend, old or new. I’m sure you get it too.
And it makes you anxious isn’t it? The future has so much uncertainties that your “plans” never seem to catch up with.
You wanted to get that dream job at that big company, then COVID happened and the company was laying off people due to financial difficulties.
You thought you’re going to be with your partner forever, and she/he broke up with you because they “weren’t feeling it anymore”.
The plans you lay ahead seems to get messed up by so many uncertainties. You fear that one wrong step will set you back and that will mess up your “plan”.
I remember telling my mentor one day after work about my struggles. The difficult cases and patients. How demotivated and tired I was.
Yes, that happened to me too and I wanted to be brutally honest.
Then he told me, “Sometimes those things that seems to be setbacks, are rather opportunities for you to learn and grow.”
That conversation was last year but it got imprinted in my mind.
Because since that day I’ve realised that in work or in life, we are defined by our ability to HANDLE uncertainties.
I used to hate it when my plan got disrupted. But now, I see it as a challenge that can teach me to think possible solutions, to communicate better, to make even BETTER plans.
When we are able to handle uncertainties with grace and ease, it is when we truly grew.
P.S. Well…I’m not there yet, but I hope someday we’ll be there together!😉🤗

How are you?って聞かれたら、"I'm fine, thank you"しか出てこないと言う方も少なくないと思います。会話が続くようにちょっと工夫しましょう☆
In this vlog, I teach my Japanese viewers other ways to respond to the question "how are you." In Japan, students are taught to answer "I'm fin, thank you" which is definitely not wrong, but doesn't expand the conversation at all!
