The second the phone vibrates, I still think that it is you who texted me.
But I forgot that we wouldn’t be texting anymore because the end of a relationship means a cease in maintaining the relationship. Perhaps ending the texting can get the concept of “us” out of our minds.
But I wonder if this trick works anymore nowadays with all the social media platforms.
Memories can be deleted in our phones or social media platforms, but not in our heads.
