2013 - today - GOALS
First off, Happy New Years to you and yours.
This picture on the left shows an old me. I wasn’t proud of myself, and for years I was embarrassed to even look myself in the mirror. Needless to say, the photo from before wasn’t one of my strong moments, however I changed and i want to show you all about my transformation.
The 2013 ME:
I was a regular couch potato in the past, sitting on my sofa eating chocolate and spending endless hours at the TV. At the time, I was unhealthy, and my eczema took hold of my life. I chose to ignore my bad habits and they in turn affected my self image and confidence. My dress size went up from a XS to M and my eczema outbreaks constantly affected my mood.
One day I finally decided that something had to change. I started to study about nutrition. I started exercising daily. soaking in everything I could, reading anything I can (i.e books, studies, documentaries, you name it I’ve done). Little by little my body started to change. I was fascinated! It was finally working! My body became stronger, my eczema got weaker and my belly was shrinking. Subtle changes that I knew happened because I made the effort. Slowly my confidence returned.
HOW did i get from THERE to HERE?
The proper diet, right exercise, better sleep and positive mindset!
I want to share my story with you because I know many of you are struggling too with your own self image. Maybe you want a better body, healthier lifestyle, or just live life more positively. To better yourself you must accept yourself in the present. But to better yourself, you must set GOALS, and TAKE ACTION. If you fully dedicate yourself to change it will happen. Lastly, you need PATIENCE and PERSEVERANCE. As most of you know, changes don’t happen overnight. It takes time and effort. Nothing comes easily, but when it does, I hope that you feel as excited as I did.
It doesn't matter where you are, you are nowhere compared to where you can go. Let’s begin 2020 strong.
