Kadar vaksinasi di Johor kini adalah sebanyak 50 ribu dos sehari. Walaubagaimanapun, kadar jangkitan Covid-19 di Johor kini berada di tahap yang amat membimbangkan. Memandangkan situasi ini, saya berpendapat bahawa kadar vaksinasi perlu dipertingkatkan lagi sehingga 70 ribu dos sehari secepat mungkin. Saya juga ingin mencadangkan supaya Operation Surge Capacity turut dilaksanakan di Johor.
Saya menyeru kepada kerajaan untuk meningkatkan lagi bekalan vaksin kepada Johor supaya kadar vaksinasi dapat dipertingkatkan supaya imuniti kelompok boleh dicapai lebih awal. Dengan varian Delta yang sangat berjangkit ini sedang menular, hanya vaksinasi yang dapat membendung wabak ini secara berkesan.
Kesihatan dan keselamatan rakyat mesti sentiasa diutamakan.

The vaccination rate in Johor is now at 50 thousand doses per day. However, the Covid-19 infection rate in Johor is currently at an alarming level. Given the situation, I believe the vaccination rate should be further increased to 70 thousand doses per day as soon as possible. I would also like to suggest that Operation Surge Capacity be implemented in Johor.
I call on the government to further increase the supply of vaccines to Johor so that the vaccination rate can be increased in order to achieve herd immunity sooner. With this highly contagious Delta variant being transmitted, only vaccination can effectively curb this pandemic.
The health and safety of the people must always be prioritised.

Hari ini saya telah menerima sebanyak 100,000 kit ujian kendiri antigen Covid-19. Kit ujian ini akan diagihkan ke seluruh Johor bagi meningkatkan kapasiti saringan supaya pengesanan jangkitan Covid-19 lebih efektif dapat dijalankan dan kes positif dapat dikesan.
Kit ujian kendiri ini akan membantu dalam usaha mengawal penularan wabak Covid-19 dan mengenal pasti tempat-tempat hotspot. Kita perlu meningkatkan lagi 'Test, Trace and Vaccinate' jika imuniti kelompok ingin dicapai secepat mungkin.
